How safe would you feel right now if your personal robot was made by Toyota?

The current hype about the safety of Toyota cars is a construct of an unholy alliance of the media, the white house and, auto unions. This is revenge because Toyota closed down their only union organized plant in the US. Toyota's cars aren't any more unsafe then other manufacturers's car.

Ah, Data! My first crush! Data and Dr Who!

I wouldn't mind a David 8 robot (from the film Prometheus), but only if I was the owner and not some crazy human. I don't feel any more or less safe around robots than I do humans, so at this point in time I have no preference.

NT humans seem to run on very basic variations of feed-fuck-fight programming anyway, so a robot would likely make a better conversation partner compared to the vast majority of biological people.

if they made bots like "david" in "AI-Artificial Intelligence" I wouldn't mind having one as a house mate.
