If I Hear That One More Time
Among the Lakota Sioux, it is rude to look someone in the eye. (I am not sure if this is the case among other Native American groups or not.) It was noticeable in the vidoes that one of the youth leaders took when my youth group went out there to help refurbish an Episcopalian church. While all of the youth group members (except me and one other guy) looked right into the eye of the camera when being interviewed, all the Sioux he interviewed looked down or away. So, would we assume all Lakota Sioux are potential criminals? I sincerely hope no one would.
