Spokane, Washington. Benny & Joon was filmed there.

I live in Portland Cockney. You come down here often?

Sliema in Malta, a very beautiful place in my opinion. If I could I would live there.

You probably can if you are on DLA as it covers all EEA countries.

I'd like to move somewhere warmer but I was in Malta in June and I was boiling alive. Even the locals told us to stop out of the sun.

San Francisco. It just seemed so beautiful and so cultural. I'm not sure I could live there, but seeing as I live in an expensive city already, I probably could make the jump if I wanted to.

I visited Paris in 2005, and liked it a lot. But I was a different person back then, and my opinion of the place may be different.

This is difficult to narrow down to one. But a town that is very special to me is Manchester Center, Vermont (Manchester, Vermont). I also like Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

I used to love Gatlinburg, Tennessee---but it's almost too commercialized for me. I also used to love Myrtle Beach, South Carolina---but it too is so busy that it gets to me.

It would have to be a tie between Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Austin because it's so liberal, in contrast to the rest of Texas which is rigidly conservative. San Antonio mainly for the Alamo, which was pretty much the highlight of my trip there, but there's still plenty of other things to do while you're there.

York, Maine. I was there for a couple weeks one summer, and I remember the novelty of (rocks on the beach, instead of sand,) and how it was just hot enough that the icy water felt good on my skin. Also, the giant taffy machine, where you could watch taffy being twisted.
