I don't have much sensory issues, but I do have problems with these:

Touch
People touching my neck, scarves. Necklaces are okay, strangely.

Sound
The fire alarm in my hall of residence has caused me very bad problems. I can't hear it without having a panic attack, and I have become nearly phobic of it.
When two phones with different ring tones ring at once
One of my hallmates once made a glass make a ringing noise which he really liked and I found horrible

Sight
Bright flashing lights. Recently I went to the ballet and at the end loads of people took pictures even though it wasn't allowed, and I shut my eyes but I could still see the flashes. :(
When paper gets wet and it all crumples up. :yuck:

Smell
Don't know if it's actually a sensory issue, but I seem to smell chlorine or faeces sometimes when no one else can and there would be no logical source of that smell.

Mixed
There's a kind of fabric I can't stand touching but I think it's because of the noise of my fingers on the fabric.

Certain shapes freak me out. You know those No U-turn signs on roads? They make me think of seizures. The upturned U shape makes me think of an animal on its back arched upwards while having a seizure. Disturbing, and yet oddly addictive to look at.

Writing on a chalkboard it always hits the nerves right above my jaw like tasting something bitter.

Yoghurt drinks :eew: . The texture and the smell of them make my skin crawl. I get this with cream too, and custard, probably because when I was little, I could never stomach them.

Tags in clothing
wool of any type
tight clothing
strong cologne on men or women (axe *is* THE worst)
tickling (seems I'm more ticklish than anyone else and ppl think it's fun to tickle me, which makes me :x )
flashing lights (too much and it gives me a migraine)
I can handle *loud* noises but not very high pitched ones even if they're quiet
amusement park rides...never could handle them
turtleneck shirts, scarves (make me irrationally feel like I'm being choked)
getting my teeth cleaned (have to do it, but it makes me feel like I'm going to jump out of my skin)
globs of fat on meat
stringy or over-cooked vegetables (I once puked in 3rd grade because they had some in the cafeteria and I didn't recognize it till too late...it was cool because I got to go home from school and I wasn't really sick)
overly aggressive touching (I am okay with hugs, but not those ppl who think it's communicating to touch you all the time...what is WRONG with those people????)

Egg whites have to be just right for me-I can't tolerate runny egg whites in a fried egg but at the same time the rubbery feel of a hard boiled egg makes me gag.

Most of mine are auditory. That is, apart from bright lighting like fluorescent lighting.

Large numbers of people all talking at the same time, especially if it echos and reverberates of the walls! Say, in shopping centers, clubs and bars (never go to them) or busy restaurants.

People shouting and arguing in an aggressive tone.

Babies and children crying or screaming.

Many high pitched telephone tones.

touch:
People touching me when I don't expect it. Light touch especially or on the ears.
wool
tags in clothing
grit on the bottom of bare feet. Cat litter is the worst.

hearing:
Loud sudden noises
certain alarm clocks, like the ones that make a low buzzing sound.
smoke alarms
the sound of my cat cleaning itself, or any mouth sounds for that matter

sight:
I don't think I have any for sight. I love bright lights.

smell:
the smell of candles is overwhelming. It can be good or bad, depending on if I like the smell. I cannot go into a candle shop!
B.O.
Axe, but a lot of people feel this way. It's disgusting.

Noises, whether they be loud like motorcycles, or lower ones like car doors shutting, or people outside talking, Shrill noises, like alarm clocks or certain sound effects in movies. Squishy, wet noises.

Bright lights, bright colors, bright "happy" colors, in general. I feel most comfortable around subdued hues, which is part of the reason I love Autumn, like winter & hate summer. I hate websites that have bright or white color schemes, they make me anxious. & I hate places that are too lit up. I don't like fluorescent light bulbs because they hurt my eyes & give me migraines, (just like sun).

Feeling wet or sticky. Having to wear wet shoes or socks, or clothes. People touching me, or having to touch people, 99%of the time. Touching things like dish rags when washing the dishes. I can only wash them with those things that have handles that you can put soap in. Having to touch the stuff is just too hard to do. I hate doing dishes. Tags in the backs of shirts, a lot of different types of fabrics. I don't like the feeling of anything rough on my skin & a lot of clothes feel that way.

The smell of certain things gives me migraines, but I think it's due more to my sinuses than to sensory problems.

+ I HATE it when someone decides to touch me when I'm not expecting it.
+ Don't like babies. I don't want to hold them, and I don't want to see pictures of them, either.
+ Sometimes I'll walk into the kitchen and hear dishes rattling. It has to be stopped.
+ We live near an airport, so every so often a loud jet flies over.
+ When I was younger (and undiagnosed) I'd sometimes come home to find my room cleaned without my consent. !@*#&%

I hate when a car in a nearby parking lot's alarm goes on for 5 minutes straight.

This is one of the reasons I don't wear socks. I freakin' hate that feeling. It's like nails on a chalkboard and I can feel it in my teeth.

I also hate sticky stuff on my skin. Had some sticky baklava last night that dripped syrup on my arm. I rubbed it off, but was still sticky. It kept sticking to my sweater. UGH! It was flipping me out!

I also can't stand being in a crowded room and trying to hold a conversation. I hear everything and therefore nothing, even if someone's sitting right next to me.

I can't stand the sight or the smell of old food (even if it's not really moldy). It makes me gag violently. Even a picture of it or a movie of someone discovering such food freaks me out. If any of you have seen Minority Report when Tom Cruise reaches for the wrong sandwich... ... ... AHHHHH!! ! I also can't touch dirty dishes once they've been placed in the sink. It's the same as nasty food to me.

I have a million more, but I'll leave these here.

I HATE velvet. Suede, too. I can't stand how it feels on my skin.

I don't like my hands being dirty. I don't like loud bass, although loud music otherwise is fine. Hate bright lights, especially flashing ones. Alarms drive me insane. And chalk is pretty bad too.

Yep, I have sound-touch synaesthesia, and it's actual synaesthesia, not my usual pseudosynaesthesia. I feel sounds, usually across the back of my head. I only realised recently that this was happening, and that it probably wasn't normally to feel like one was literally being struck/whipped in the back of the head during certain sounds.

I get the claws in the head feeling from certain sounds, but more often than not what I can best describe as being filled up with white noise or the mental version of the blue screen of death. Too long listening to white noise on the TV or an alarm will make me start to gag too.

I know my little boys big one is his hands feeling gritty (like the seasonings from chips or sand getting on them). Instant total melt down if his hands aren't wiped off within seconds. I've been working on helping him calm down enough to wipe them off himself before it gets that bad since it is really difficult to do much of anything when he wants to eat some chips (which are actually his favorite snack despite the aversion to the feel, so I figure he REALLY likes chips).

The sock thing is really annoying, but the worst to me about socks is when they pull tight when you put shoes on. Anyone else re-put on their shoes about a dozen times until you get the socks to stop pulling on their toes and sometimes just give up on the socks all together? Some days I just give up and through on some sandals even if its snowing.

Amen;this could me have a gag reflex.

Also to add:

1)the feeling of having fresh cut fingernails.
2) the texture of chalk.
3) the sound and texture of a chalk board eraser.
4) the feeling of cotton balls.
5) the sensation of velvet
6) ""''' wool
7) dry hands -my orthodontist had the driest hands and it would annoy me when his hands rubbed my palate ; it was like sandpaper. he would also shake your hand and it felt like a hand filled with baby powder.
