I'm still getting the cold shoulder after 6 years from some people in my life.

I wish I was half as Lucky as the OP, who shouldn't worry about the quiet treatment when he has a lot to fit the part.
I still get the cold shoulder even after I've made an effort, put myself out under no false pretences, I get side lined, ridiculed and bullied into making choices I know aren't right for me.

My mum's been giving me the cold shoulder because I don't want to be like my same sex peers. She's in denial that I'm an F to M who can't afford the therapy and surgery. She's seen me out and about wearing two of my three helmets and each time, she wasn't shy about telling me on the phone.

I was acting out in front of the drug store while eating a bag of popcorn. I said very loudly, "France and England sitting in the tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, than comes marriage, than comes Germany in a baby carriage! Why? Because France wasn't aware that England had a bit of German in him!"

My cold shoulder is when I feel I've had a hangover the night before, and I awake to un neighbourly noises of a building construction site. Then, checking that a response to an email is bitter in response to I'll help you notes when they want DBS(which takes a month), then statements, and references and god know what else, and then they have stacking chair and tables and, serving 50 guests who are neither here or there,- food, and stating that its an experienced role. Now I'm thinking I'll give it the cold shoulder and focus on getting to a different, more subtle trespass via bus, then on foot.
