There are medications that can increase your motivation when you have a lg due to depression or anxiety. I know I have issues sometimes with motivation. Ask you psychiatrist about that. Mine prescribed Wellbutrin in a small dose. Callista is correct, though, that everyone is different and responds to medication differently. I just wanted to let you know my experience and tell you to ask your doctor what options are available for you.

I went to the doctor and he wrote me a prescription for Wellbutrin also. Im waiting for it to arrive and then imma start taking that along with my lexapro.

I tried Ritalin (officially prescribed). buth that made me very unstable.

I tried dextroamphetamine (officially prescribed), but that may me rather numb.

I tried various illegal substances including LSD, MDMA, levoamphetamine, methylone and 2-FMA (self-medicated). Those did benefit me a lot, but the stimulants to tend to be addictive and result in dependence.

Currently, I try to stay free from any medication most of the time, although I do self-medicate occasionally.

My prefered combo for alleviating the more negative Autism symtoms is a mixture of levoamphetamine, methylone and 2-FMA.

Psilocybin and cannabis aroused my interest in things, but cannabis ceased to really help when I got used to it, especially when they moved over to modern "weed," which never seemed like the same drug to me. Psilocybin was likely more persistent and potent for that purpose, but I don't recommend it as a medicine, it seems to amplify bad feelings as well as good, and I think it could end very badly. I never dared take much of it, and I had little or no bad feelings to amplify when I did. If you think you need these things, I'd advise you to avoid them.

I like mild dosages Ketamine as an alternative to marihuana and alcohol. IMO mild dosages of Ketamine have the benefits of both marihuana and alcohol but not the downsides.

I wouldn't recommend anyone trying any psychedelic without someone sufficiently experienced with psychedelics to act as a "sitter" and guide one through a trip.

IMO, a psychedelic trip is something that should never be done when alone except after one has developed sufficient experience with psychedelic trips in the company of one or more individuals you trust with your life.
