Do I Need Psychotherapy? Quiz
You scored a total of 20

From the information you provided, you appear to be someone who might benefit from psychotherapy from a mental health professional at this time. You appear from your responses to be grappling with a problem in your life that is causing you some concern. People in situations similar to yours often find that talking things over with a therapist can help them get back on track.
It would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from an experienced, trained mental health professional soon to help you with the problem behaviors and feelings you're experiencing.
You can often obtain a referral for a qualified professional in your area from your family doctor or by consulting your employer's insurance plan. We do not make recommendations for specific mental healthcare professionals.

/\ This one is interesting. I don't think I would be open to psychotherapy. I was diagnosed with AS by a psychologist and I had no problem answering any of her questions, but I didn't find her helpful in any way.

ADD: 34
You appear to experiencing some type of attention and concentration problems which are often common amongst the general population, but border on the possibility of being more severe. It is unclear as to whether you suffer these problems severely enough to need to seek further diagnosis and treatment of them.

Anxiety: 24
Based upon your responses to this anxiety screening measure, it appears that you may be suffering from moderate anxiety, symptoms that might typically qualify you for the diagnosis of an anxiety disorder. Sometimes people who feel such anxiety symptoms don't realize that their body may be trying to tell them something. Look for patterns in your behavior, such as when and what circumstances under which you experience the symptoms you've described. For example, if it occurs prior to public speaking and your job requires a lot of presentations you may want to find ways to calm yourself before speaking or let others do some of the presentations.

Autism/Aspergers: 16 (I actually have NLD though.)
You have answered this autism screening in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from an austism spectrum disorder, including Asperger's disorder.

Bipolar: 31
Based upon your responses to this bipolar disorder quiz, you appear to be suffering from a bipolar disorder. It may be a Bipolar I or Bipolar II type disorder, but it's difficult to say given your responses.

Depression: 27 (I just got out of a depression- yay!)
Based upon your responses to this depression quiz, you appear to be suffering from a mild to moderate depressive disorder.

Mania: 44
You appear to be moderately to severely manic from your responses to this self-report questionnaire.

Eating Disorders: 16 (I have a natural very high metabolism so of course everyone thinks I'm too thin! I know I am, too!)
You have answered this self-report questionnaire in such a way as to suggest that you do not likely currently suffer from an eating disorder. It also appears that you have difficulty with self-control over eating.

OCD: 23 (No surprise there!)
Based upon your responses to this screening measure, you are most likely suffering from an obsessive-compulsive disorder. It would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek a professional diagnosis from a trained mental health professional in your community immediately.

Schizophrenia: 3
You have answered this schizophrenia screening in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder.

Narcisssistic: 34
Highest score: Authority refers to a person's leadership skills and power. People who score higher on authority like to be in charge and gain power, often for power's sake alone. You scored particularly high in authority, suggesting you see yourself as a leader or as someone who values power.

You scored a total of 39

Based upon your responses to this autism screening measure, it appears that you are likely suffering from an autism spectrum disorder, or Asperger's disorder. People who score similarly often qualify for a diagnosis of autism or Asperger's.

People with an autism spectrum disorder often suffer from severe and sustained impairment in social interaction and the development of restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, and activities. The disturbance must cause clinically significant impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.

You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional soon to rule out a possible anxiety disorder.

Based upon your responses to this bipolar disorder quiz, you appear to be suffering from moderate to severe symptoms associated with a bipolar disorder. People who have answered similarly to you typically qualify for a diagnosis of Bipolar I Disorder and have sought professional treatment for this disorder. (You may, however, still fit into the less serious diagnosis of Bipolar II Disorder.)

You scored a total of 40

Based upon your responses to this schizophrenia screening measure, you appear to have some early signs commonly associated with schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder. Your responses are similar to others who experience early symptoms of schizophrenia or a schizophrenia-related disorder. Because no online test is 100% accurate, please be aware that this does not necessarily mean you do have schizophrenia, only that this particular quiz found sufficient evidence to suggest that you may.

You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further verification and to see if you qualify for a schizophrenia or schizophrenia-related diagnosis from a trained mental health professional as soon as possible in order to rule out a possible schizophrenia or psychotic disorder.

I have been diagnosed with schizoaffective bipolar type, that is why these scores are high. I have scored as high as 80 on the schizophrenia test at one time when I was having a psychotic episode. My meds are working right now and I am not that depressed either. I didn't know my ADHD test was going to be so high, but when I think about it I might have been diagnosed a long time ago (not Adult ADHD but when I was young in school my brother had the worst case though).

Yeah, these questions are BS:

Depression: 59

I do feel pretty s**t a lot, but I don't think I'm truly depressed. I have a rotten self esteem and often a pessimistic attitude, but when I compare my current state with a certain time last year, when I literally had no energy, I don't think I'm as bad as that and the psychiatric people I see don't think I have a mood disorder (but then again, they never got me tested for it).

Bipolar: 56

I don't think so- my ups and downs are not really a mystery. Even if I did have bipolar disorder, it's most certainly nor Bipolar I. Possibly Cyclothymia if it does mean that I have it, but even then, I believe it's a stretch.

Schizophrenia- 4

Anxiety- 37

Woah- now I used to have Panic Disorder and I remember it causing daily distress (I pretty much had a panic attack everyday or at least other symptoms of anxiety). Again, I compare myself then to now and yes, I feel worried and crap a lot, but it's hella better than what I went through when I was a kid.

Adult ADHD: 76 (apparently, I need to seek medical help immediately and that it's serious ADHD, likely)

Eating disorder screening test: 2

Eating attitude test- 4

OCD- 26

I certainly have traits, but I don't think that I have it. I certainly am a perfectionist, but thats the extent of my obsessive compulsive behaviour.

I don't feel like doing the autism one because I already have a diagnosis and I'm tired. Still, that was fun, teehee.

i was going to do the ADD test but there were too many questions and i could not keep track of what question i was up to. i was distracted also by some birds chirping outside so i gave up.

i was going to do the anxiety test but i was very worried about what the result would be so i decided against it.

i did not take the autism test because i do not "take" anything because it is against the rules to steal.

i started the bipolar test with much enthusiasm but during the test i started to realize that it was useless and i felt deflated.

when i began the depression test, i thought "why bother? i have no energy anyway. it is all just sh*t"

i could not complete the OCD test because i was not sure i got my answers correct, and after an hour of reviewing what i answered i decided to not submit my answers in case they were wrong.

of course i did not dare to do the schizophrenia test because i know that test would be monitored by the CIA to weed out potentially dangerous people. so a voice in my head told me to stay away from it.

You would never take the ODD test because you don't like people telling you what to do.

(Ok, that was a weak addition, but I like your sense of humour.)

Scored ridiculously low on OCD, depression, schizophrenia. Scored a 56 ("moderate") on the adult ADHD test, and scored a 36 on the AQ test (I always seem to score a 36 on the AQ test.)

Confirmed my suspicions that I have few to no co-morbid disorders (with a touch of ADHD), at least none on this list.

^ I second that... very funny!

So anyway, I am taking this about as seriously as... simile not found. Basically I think these online tests are very unreliable and almost beg you to pick the 'correct' answers so that you are a schizophrenic, bipolar, Aspie, depressive with ADHD... Anyway my results and what I think about them:

Results of your
Attention Deficit Disorder Quiz
You scored a total of  108

'Serious ADHD likely'

I would say that is pretty accurate although I have never been diagnosed with ADHD. Part of having Tourette syndrome includes the symptoms of ADHD (only in some people) so it's possible that is what is showing up rather than actual ADHD. I'll keep you posted on that one!

Results of your
Anxiety Screening Quiz
You scored a total of   17

'Not likely'

Again pretty accurate. These past few months, my anxiety levels have dropped significantly. I am no longer bothered by panic attacks and other symptoms. Again some of the questions could be answered by other conditions I have: Shaking for example, by dystonia and mild hypoglycemia... not actually anxiety. If I thought of it this way then re-did the test, I would probably score a lot lower.

Results of your
Autism / Asperger's Screening Quiz
You scored a total of   46

'likely'

Well, I'm diagnosed and living in a home for autistic people so duh...

Results of your
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Screening

You scored a total of  16

'most likely'

See this is the one that surprised me. I haven't suffered with my OCD for several months now. Again, a lot of the questions could have been to do with my Tourettes. People with Tourettes need to touch things and people, even things out and get bad thoughts in their head.

Basically, just have a laugh with these. They are REALLY not very good diagnostic tools!

Now what would Dr. Smith have to say about this?

Maybe "You Ninny" or "You booby head". :P
