I love the fact that you are mad they called you ignorant and not at all upset they called you a b***h. That cracks me up. I am so beyond sick of being called a b***h that ignorant would be a nice change.

I never thought of it that way! I've been the b-word so many times in my life I guess I just don't really react to it anymore :)

Thank-you everyone for your replies, I got a good laugh at the clip from Falling Down (great film that) and everyone's thoughts are very inciteful on this....I don't have a problem in the least with people who beg, I quite frequently (at least weekly) give them money, I just have a problem with the ones who make up a fake story and actually harass me while I'm trying to walk home, and then call me names. I wasn't even trying to insult him by saying what I said I just wanted to make it clear I knew what he wanted and he may as well not bother me and waste both our time!
