Look at him savouring the smell of it. He looks like he's in a coffee advert.

My SI at the moment is the Tarot and over divination methods. It's fascinating.

Primary:
Johnny Depp and his movies

Secondary:
Tim Burton and his movies
Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton version)
Willy Wonka (both movies)

It's hard to say which obsession is my latest, because I've had them all for a couple of months.

Augmented reality overlay of optimized real-time parameter inference using feature-based stereoptic analysis predicated on dynamic Bayesian network modeling of human neural mental states: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/rainbo ... s/mrm.html

i.e. Getting computers to tell you what other people are thinking ('cause I'm so bad at it myself).

EagleEye, that remote controlled camera is AWESOME, totally want one.

The augmented reality overlay to read mental states is hilarious btw, good idea!

Oh, interested in hearing about the non-causal consciousness ideas too, I've got some... interesting ideas on causality.

I can't fold my paper and it has to be in good condition until I have read through it all.

My latest obsession is autism spectrum disorders (hah) as I just got my diagnosis three weeks ago. I've been talking everyone's heads off.

But in the past they have been:

Astronomy
U. S. States trivia
Astrology
Iceland (everything)
U. S. Presidents
Medieval British History
blah, blah, blah

It will pass in a few days, probably. Good thing there aren't any old machines listed on eBay currently...

I bought an iPad, Bored of that already. While I was interested I downloaded the Sam & Max game, so now I'm figuring out all the episodes available on the PC.

art. documentation. history. social observation and interpretation. enlightenment, and self-discovery.
that's really the best set of words i can come up with to try and express the mass of thought that consumes 99% of me.

Mine have been changing a lot recently.
I had a pretty good obsession with Alice in Wonderland going for a while (see my signature, ha ha.)
Then it switched to Pokemon (again), but I'm grounded from that for now.

Right now I'm just coming out of a Little Shop of Horrors obsession (Great movie, you can watch it on Youtube. I suggest watching the original ending, which starts when *no REAL spoilers* the plant calls the girl. You'll know what I'm saying when you ge there.)

I think whatever I do next will become my latest obsession, so it will probably be windows movie maker. (Sorry for the long post.)

I somehow try to twist my interests into projects, and when I finish the project I sort of move on to something else (usually). Right now I'm making this huge scrapbook, though scrapbooking isn't a major interest of mine. I'm very interested in apologetics right now...I can't really come up with a sort of project on that, I'm just collecting information and organizing it I guess.
