No, I think the above act and many others that you can find on the board, pretty much demonstrate that others believe we are not entitled to have an identity at all, inferior, superior, or equal, that we are either not autistic at all and can "speak" for no one; or that we are autistic and are, therefore, tragic idiots.

Then you are acting no differently than they... unfortunate.

Do people even realize what a troll tends to do? Get people fired up and that's exactly what's happening here. If that happens, the troll has already "won", even if they get warned or banned. Are you in control of your actions or does the troll control you? There tends to be a reason the saying "don't feel the trolls" goes around.


Granted I have seen that sort of behavior, even from other Aspies who feel bad about themselves and try to impose it on everyone else. My point is, fighting intolerance with more intolerance only makes the problem worse. Do you want NTs to start treating Aspies with more respect? Then resorting to the same level or even lower of bigots will lead to others to side with the bigots. It's annoying being treated like Aspies are faking it, idiots, or inferior, I know, but those stereotypes have to be proven wrong in logical and rational ways. Not that it'll help against the trolls across the Internet that really don't have AS, but make that up as an excuse to get "smart" people to think AS is nothing but negative stuff.

I'm not at all defending the first post although no one claimed otherwise, but if the point of this topic was to be a sort of trap to get people fired up, it's sure working so far, which is why I'm not acting in an expected matter that people normally do toward trolls.

Well, orry for the double post, id do it less if a multi-quiote option ever gets implemented (yes, I dont like having to do it the long way, I have a hard time remembering how to do it anyways)

Im just gonna add in that mocking/making fun of the trolls can provide plenty of entertainment. they usually don't know how to respond to posts like that. Yeah it can be considered cruel, but whatever. The best way to deal with a troll is to not take them seriously, just plain and simple.

Go read the rules of the community you joined, DA. Your attacks aren't welcome or accepted here, and while I appreciate your perspective, I don't share it. If you can't walk the walk, then you should look for someplace that better suits your needs instead of demanding accommodation and sacrifice from others. Don't feed the trolls; report them so something useful and effective can be done rather than affecting the quality of WP for your own amusement.
