At times I wonder why do I care, at times I think their is no one their, at times I sit alone and stare. But then I remember what drives me, then I remember what lights up my world, then I remember action instigates change. So all I ask is for you all to think before you say, to take time to really see, and LET - our L...ives, our Existence, our Terms be heard and celebrate diversity and difference.

Here Here.

All it takes is for you to change YOUR attitude. I meant to write this when someone else had said about how the world can't be changed etc. If you change your attitude, your world will change. The world is not a whole entity that needs to be changed.

Think of it this way.
The basic estimate of what constitutes a single 'generation' is 20 years. The lifespan of a human being is approximately 80 years. Now mind you because things are fuzzy and we're dealing with complex interactions that don't occur on twenty years cycles there is always a problem defining these things concretely especially with periodic changes in the ages when a woman gives birth and the people around them that can be attributed to their upbringing directly.

If you think of that purely logically, the first half vs the last half of any 80 year 'window view' of society will have a 50/50 split on EVERY single last issue, if you poll each generation separately you might even be able to analyze where the shift and change in thinking comes, but it's who we're taught by that we learn from and the complex matrix of circumstances and world events which can inject drastic change in the social makeup of a society.

The world as it currently is, as far as we know is the largest social melting pot to ever have existed on this planet. there are going to be bumps! The majority will ALWAYS win in a large complex system. However the majority can die. And the superior are left with windows of opportunity.

It's fine....I don't judge anyone for their politics per se.

While the far left irritates me too in many ways....I suppose most people
would view me as a member of it albeit a rather recalcitrant one who
refuses to obey the party line

In terms of my ideals....I suppose i'd define myself as a libertarian socialist whose
overall worldviews are similar to Noam Chomsky's.

I admit I despise capitalism with every fiber of my being. That being said...I also
admit that it may very well be the best we humans can do, (economically speaking)
currently at least, as a species.

This is turn is a big reason for my misanthropy. If capitalism is truly the best humans
can do, i'd say we're not worth very much.

Not a big fan of many other things the far left often dislikes as well, but capitalism
is public enemy number #1 IMO.

Religion is a big contender too....but only for the VALUES it has spawned and which
still resonate even among the secular.

Just my opinions...I could be wrong of course and I don't want to get into
a big debate about politics and religion in any event.

I don't see how you can hate capitalism? Trying to get the best price possible for your goods, what in the world can be wrong with that? If you don't want to buy something then don't, it's just that simple. Consummerism on the other hand may be something worth criticizing.

I tend to agree with the people who don't think this will ever change much, I think it is a phenomnom of nature that the strong impose themselves on the weak, both politically and physically. An interesting take on this matter would be to consider how the genetically submissive "caucasian" gene will eventually dissapear due to racial mixing and the caucasian race experiences extinction
