Yes!

I'm more verbal, and though I understand math I need it to be related to something else -- chemistry, physics, ect -- to capture my attention.

My last year of math in high school, the teacher said he'd pass me if I promised to never take math again! I like the idea of math; exploring reality with numbers. But when I see the numbers on a page, I panic! Poetry has a similar effect; the idea of a different way of gaining insight is appealing, but my eyes just slide off the page.

Curious thing: I tested INTP in high school and into my thirties, I took the test again today for the first time in, say, a decade, now it says I'm an ISTJ. Hmmm.

I know this is old, but I was very excited to see this thread. I am an INTP that dislikes math. I can see the use in it, but as I am able to figure most things by visualizing the problem, concept or idea I have never found it very useful. I was concerned that I was not an INTP because I did not care for math, but all things considered (e.g. everything about me is INTP, except I don't care for math) I am an INTP. Because I have figured out MBTI from a biological perspective it is very important for me to pinpoint everything precisely to ensure accuracy in typing myself and others.

This is my first post on wrong plant. Thank you.

-Diagnosed Aspie since Jan 2012 (double verified by two psychologists).
-Freaky aptitude in predicting people's actions.
-Ti, Ne, Si, Fe
-Strong Si because my parents pushed my into sports at an early age, and had to develop my senses. Therefore I do not suffer from prosopagnosia (face blindness), and have an excellent memory for recalling peoples faces, tastes of food, and what I have seen. Any other aspies out there without prosopagnosia? Please let me know. (I would think that INTJs and INFJs would be the ones with this problem as their Ni overtakes their Si, whereas INTPs still have Si (as a 3rd function), just a hunch.
Also, anyone care to guess what Vincent D'Onofrio's MBTI is? I'm thinking INTP, though maybe INTJ, (although he is an actor)(from what I've read or heard he is a diagnosed aspie).
-Two weeks ago I told my parents that I can relate to Osama bin Laden's ideals (INFJ) but would never endorse his horrendous actions. They then told me they did not wish to speak with me until I went to a mental hospital. (I have quite the refrigerator mother).
Anyone in the Charlotte, NC area that wants to hook up? Preferably female, though I would consider hanging out with a male. I am 5' 7", average build, some consider me attractive (I guess I am, just: I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish I was a baller, I wish I had a girl who looked good I would call her, I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat, and a six four Impala (Skee-Lo – I Wish)

Another INTP who isn't good at math reporting for duty. I specialize more in visual and verbal abilities. Though there are some math concepts that I find really interesting, such as fractals.
