We watch people too, sometimes relentlessly. So we get what we deserve :)

Being watched creeps me out, I can't work while that happens nor can I think. If I do, the results are wrong. It's just not how I like to work.

Yes I hate it because in my mind I think they are trying to catch me at something and then critcize me about it.

Agree, especially if it's a test and the teacher stops and stares. I realise he (or she!) is just trying to catch cheaters or prevent them. But I can'concentreate when they do that!

I hate being watched in everyday stuff but I lose that when I do theatre.

Don't watch me eat, talk, think, etc. But if I'm on stage, look at me.

Maybe that's because on stage you've planned for it, so you know it's coming. When people are just randomly looking around and seeing other people it's so much more unpredictable. I can see why that would be hard for people who have a hard time adjusting to changes/transitions/unpredictable events.

Those of you who disliked being watched, do you also have difficulty with transitions and stuff like that?

I hate it when someone watches me doing things, because they will ask questions that don't make any kind of sense. Examples when I'm playing on the pc are: "Ist that guy you?" "Are you chatting with your friends?" "can your friends see you now". these questions contain false facts, leaving no right answer, but being silent is rude, too...

I find it disturbing to be stared at or stared down...even when babies stare. It tiggers a fight impulsive.
