I shave my legs and armpits EVERY day. I'm terrified of the hair growing back, and someone noticing it. The only reason I don't shave my arms is because my mom would kill me. And I HATE to wax. Unfortunately there I don't have a choice. I have to whether I want to or not.

I shave my legs and armpits often, and I actually get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. I've been doing that for so long that it's not that painful anymore.

I shave my armpits every time I shower or else I'll start smelling worse than the garbage. As for my legs... I do it when I feel like it or when they feel like a cactus.

I generally don't shave. I find it unfair that women are expected to shave their legs and armpits, it's utterly pointless. I shaved for quite a few years but I'm much more happy and comfortable now leaving my body hair alone. If some people have a problem with that, then that is their problem and not mine. :)

I completely agree. It's stupid. I can see the point in shaving off beards (as they're itchy and untidy and largely pointless) but underarm and leg hair does no harm at all. :?

I don't shave until I'm annoyed by people saying stuff too much. I guess that nobody likes facial hair anymore... makes me look young. :\

Interesting this came up.
My very 1st post here a week or so ago was about this.

I shave constantly. Hair coming out of my body feels like porcupine needles and makes me feel very dirty, unorganized & anxious.
Nothing soothes my anxiety like hair removal.

Shaving isn't even the most satisfying hair removal.
I have waxed and tweezed.
Waxing privates, back, buttocks is exquisite.

I often tweeze eyebrows, hair on my ears and the few hairs on my toes.
Shaving only cuts hair at the surface so feeling the hair get pulled out by the roots is very pleasing.
Same w waxing; while you can't feel the removal as much. It is satisfying knowing the hair is gone from BENEATH the skin & not just at a surface level.

I can't understand how anyone w sensory issues could stand to have stubble and hair everywhere.

There was a kid I went to school with who had a party where someone went into the bathroom and put nair in the shampoo and conditioner bottles. 8O The idiot bragged about in school after the kid's mom washed her hair with it. He was 18 so they arrested him for it.

That's an odd prank. :? Especially if he bragged about it. Though I don't get why that would be a cause for arrest. Surely the hair grows back. Or you can wear a wig.

I barely shave, and only my face when it gets out of hand.

Am I supposed to shave my pubic region?

I'd consider waxing but I'd have to let the hair on my legs grow a bit first... but their are just some body parts that I will never remove hair from.

yeah - I don't do the privates.
I am 44 and this hairless thing is relatively new.
Odd, it's personal and not a social thing, but I wouldn't want to be completely hairless.

It's just my face, upper arms (biceps & shoulders). back & butt that I get rid of the hair.

He was arrested for assault and I think product tampering he got community service and some fines. There was also an idiot at the University of Buffalo arrested for putting super glue on a toilet seat sticking a classmate to the seat.
