I am currently into Peppadew brand "Whole Piquante Peppers", a product from South Africa. It is a jar of what looks like miniature red capsicums (bell peppers) or habaneros, coming in mild or hot versions. They look so cute and delectable. They are pickled in a sweet vinegar/brine and oh so yummy! Here is a pikkie:

I too am one of these people who will put hot sauces on everything. In my case it's Tabasco or hot pepper sauce. As long as these sauces 'went' with the meal, I'd always have them. I also couldn't eat toast without splashings of hot sauce.

However, recently I haven't been buying Tabasco or pepper sauce because they are expensive enough to pretty much be a luxury for me, with me being unemployed for a few months now.

A guy from the company where I used to work played that game where they put as many chillis in their mouths as they could possibly get in, and ate all those chillis simultaneously once they in their mouths. You can imagine he suffered greatly from this and he had a burning sensation for, I think, maybe the next 24 hours plus. As a consequence his nickname at work for many years has been 'Chilli'. His name is Craig, but no-one calls him that, never ever, it's always Chilli.

I love spicy food, well most of the time. I usually add alot of spice to my daily soup. Anybody here like Cherry Peppers, those are the best, especially the ones that I like, filled with prochuto (SP?), and yes hot sauce is awesome as well, especially with chicken. I used to eat jalapenos time to time, but I haven't had any for awhile. My uncle has some great spices, one of which is plastered with many warnings about possible hazards ;)

I love hot food, too. I go to the Mexican restaurant and order super nachos with jalapenos and I also pour hot salsa on top of them. I also like spicy Cajun/Creole foods.

If I cook a meal I'm usually the only one who can eat it :D

The shamen in south american indian tribes will eat handfulls of peppers before consuming other plants and going into a trance, as it increases bloodflow (like supercharging the brain).

At a party I went to last year someone had a bottle of chilli vodka, which was kind of a joke thing. Capsaicin, the chemical that makes chillis hot is soluble in alcohol, so all the hot stuff that would usually be stuck inside the seeds and skin, that you'd need to spend ages chewing to get to taste was dissolved in the alcohol, which made it really hot.

People had a tiny shot and their eyes would start watering, and they'd be running round trying to get something else to drink.

I asked for a second bigger shot ;)

My friend used to be a bartender, has a huge rack of 'what the f' is that' liquors in the living room that no one touches (he's trying to kill the stash and we drank everything we liked). Among those bottles was a bottle of Inferno Vodka, may or may not be what your talking about, but it has a huge what looks like a cayenne pepper just chillin in the bottle, overinflated, looks like it's losing it's color. During our maybe 3rd to last big house party I got my friend's girlfriend and her friend to try some of that stuff, we all took it, it wasn't too bad but it definitely had more warmth than we'd expected. Lol, then again that's when our bartender friend pulled out the Dave's Insanity, we ended up sending that arround on crackers, they lost it, I probably ate 3 crackers with a drop on it and then doused a Keebler club-house cracker so thick with it that all you could see was red paved all over the entire surface - of course I only did it once they'd tried it, realized the stuff was no joke, and when I could at least get a good reaction of out of em ;). Over all it was a pretty fun night and no complaints the next day. That 357 MadDog though, on the other hand, that's a different story and as well it probably should be being 7 times stronger than Dave's Gourmet Insanity.

This stuff had about a half dozen peppers in it, and a bunch of seeds from some other peppers.

Something else I just realized, I've heard a lot about things that are supposedly quenchers for afterward - honey, chocolate syrup, etc. but I think I might have found something that works. I have a big bottle of that cheap TGI Friday's Pina Colada stuff in my fridge and incidentally ended up mixing a glass with likw 1/3 that and 2/3 milk (just because it's nasty straight). Strangely enough that actually killed the burn from a bowl of pasta and 357 I had earlier like nothing I've ever tried before. I'm guessing its not the milk, most people say that just makes it worse if on it's own. Maybe it's the acids in the pineapple? Hard to say...

Spicy food is my favorite kind of food. My motto is, if it doesn't make me cry, it's not spicy enough. My love of spicy food started when I was a kid and my mom made this special kind of fried chicken that was made with a spicy powder that we bought at a store called Winco. None of us can remember what it was called, but it was delicious. Nowadays I eat cheeseburgers with jalapenos on them, and Maruchan Instant Yakisoba, the Spicy variety of which has a powder that is made from crushed habaneros. My favorite food is General Tso's chicken, which combines spiciness with another favorite flavor of mine, sweetness.

Try the Naga Jolokia pepper. I really want to try one but am scared of what it will do to me.
