Autism is also, sometimes missing the point of a topic...

This is about "fight or flight." The OP is asking about whether others, like him, tend to flee. He's not asking if it's right.

BTW: Walking away can, and OFTEN is the more manly thing to do. Confrontation is not necessarily manly, and is often childish.
