Yes. But nothing that didn't mend. Broken leg, lacerated fingers, lots of bumps to the head, twisted ankles, cycling accidents, spilling liquids (best one was a litre of concentrated sulphuric acid ). For years I've taken to applying special care to my physical movements, tending to start things very gradually and not really allowing myself much immediacy. I'm good with my fingers so people tend to think I can't be clumsy if I've got the fine motor skills to play a guitar and to do micro work in a research lab. I also exert a lot of control over my environment when possible, I remove clutter that everybody else just walks round - I can't function without clear gangways, and find it painful to work and live with people who have no problem with cluttering them.

I can be as un-clumsy as you like, but it takes up a fair bit of processing power and it slows me down. Better than looking like an idiot all the time though.

I've gotten far better (minus the occasional problem where I end up walking right into a flagpole or tripping over my own feet) but when I was younger I used to get hurt a lot. I've sprained my wrists and ankles a total of 13+ times (I lost count after that, though I've never broken anything majour). I've had numerous concussions from semi-serious falls.

I really can't say I have had any majour issues from clumsiness -- most are just me walking right into a doorframe/hitting my head getting into the car. I have developed a rather hard head after hitting it on various surfaces over time, though. And I have to say my tolerance for pain as far as falling down goes is pretty damn high!

Yes, all the time. I don't even bother with having a decent set of dishes. In 7th grade, after math class everyday, a boy in my class would go the same way as me and stop, in anticipation of me tripping up the stairs - which I did without fail every single time.

The school year is 180 days long, btw. 180.

Only when I tried to ride a bike or something like that.

Oh yeah, bikes. Ugh. I can barely ride one - it's a shaky adventure. The last time I rode a motorcycle I laid it down twice in one day. I should have known. I've stayed off two wheeled things since then.

I actually used to wonder why I could never ride a bike. That's one reason I also felt so abnormal. My brother did it so effortlessly, and it frustrated my dad that I couldn't. When I did try, I would be shaking, and my hands and arms would get very sore because I would be holding on to the handles too hard. I was even afraid of moving my feet, so I couldn't get it to go. Yeah, bikes are a nightmare.

Story of my life. My motor skills are the worst and always have been called clumsy. I trip and bump into things at least once an hour no joke. I trip over my own feet, fall into walls in narrow hallways, hit doorways, always hit my arm at work on a shelf the list is endless. The worst tho was 3 weeks ago I hurt my foot bad (socks + slippery kitchen floor)and then last week I rehurt it all because I tripped on a rock.

Speaking of bikes I couldnt ride one until I was 8 and thats only after I rode on the back of my dads motorcycle.

I also hate stairs too

Yep. SO many! I've never broken a bone, but I've run into a car (whilst on a sled), cut pretty much all of my fingers on either knives or can lids, fallen down too many stairs to count (huge bruises and swollen ankles). As a kid I had so many bruises my mom took me to the hospital to get tested for leukemia!

Completely agreed. I can't understand how anyone expects to balance on that thing. It was really upsetting and I remember I had to really pitch some fits to get my parents to give up on the idea. :(

I always find them on my upper thighs and forearms and I have no idea how they got there. I think someone sneaks in my room at night to beat me with sticks and chains when I am sleeping.
