I actually don't mind the dentist oddly enough. Don't have to be social when someone has their hands in your mouth. Just lean back, close your eyes, and go to whatever place you need to be. I haven't actually had anything major or really painful done, so maybe it would be another story if/when I had to have my wisdom teeth removed or something like that.

Now the doctor is another thing, I have to dang near dying to get dragged in there.

My dentist is my father most of the time so I don´t usually get to upset about going to the dentist.

When I was child I needed to go to another dentist to get some treatment he didn´t work with and I used to get nervous.

I don't mind the dentist. I get a little anxious everytime, though. And he's a really cool person. I was scared my first time, and when I had oral surgery for the first time (I'll have to get it again). I actually have fun at the dentist, all they do is tighten my braces.

I get extremely anxious at the dentist/doctor's office, and I have a severe gag reflex. It used to be necessary for me to arrive at the dentist heavily sedated, and attached to a continual blood pressure monitor in the dental chair, but now I get acupuncture before my appointment, which turns me into the same me, but without any anxiety, gag reflex or grogginess. I love, love, love acupuncture.

I cannot participate in the poll because I hate everything about going to the dentist.

I dont have anything against the dentist, however, my wallet hates 'em.
