This thread is getting me interested in the different kinds of artificial light. I am not sure what I find easiest. I have a SAD lamp which mimics daylight and is very bright. But the intensity is controllable and can be turned down. This light is the most appealing for me and I can turn it to face the wall its not in my face. I have energy saving light bulbs too, but not sure if I like them. I do not like florescent lights much. I hate christmas tree lights. Candle light is very nice though.

I have a sad lamp and I don't think they give off ultraviolet.
