I don't like getting my picture then, or now.

I absolutely hated it............I would get so nervous and make strange facial expressions. I look crazed...or otherwise really strange in most of my kid pictures

There are very few pictures of me as an adult.

NO! My school made us have our picture taken twice a year and the photographers would insist I sit a certan way and actualy touch me. I evenualy stoped smiling in pictures unless it was one my mom caught off gaurd becuase my mom complained about my "fake smiling" in pictures. I think I remember the school photographers or at least my teacher fussing with my hair. My mom's favorite pictures of me are ones that were not school pictures and were there was not another person in it such as one of me around six or seven petting a sheep.

I've always hated it. I'm not photogenic at all, and I dislike camera flashes.

This was something I had to get over when I first started participating in Facebook. I had to remind myself that this is how people saw me. I remember seeing myself in a picture when I was very young though (maybe age 3), and I was fascinated by it. I wasn't ashamed then. Maybe because it was posed.

Based on the responses in this thread, it certainly does seem like it.

If my parents or siblings want a picture of me, they have to take it when I am off gaurd.

No, it got me in trouble because I didn't smile on command, which sort of traumatized me, and I have never liked it since.

I loved having my photo's taken and I have always smiled for the camera ever since really.
If I hated it, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have this avatar I've got now?

I didn't mind it as a child but at times I hated it because I wouldn't be in the mood. As a young child at two and three I didn't like being in class pictures so when I saw a class picture from when I was in nursery school, I wasn't in it. so my parents had wasted money on a school picture.

Then as I got older I didn't like having it taken because I hated my smiles and how I looked. Ugh I even hated my boobs. I remember taking a sharpee and scribbling them out.

But now I don't mind having them get taken.

When I was young, I did not really like having my picture taken, but now I like it even less. Pictures don't tend to do me justice, or maybe that is just what I think. I don't know? Not to big on it, anyways.

Still don't like having my picture taken, as a child in most of my preschool pictures I have my eyes closed and I'm grimacing.I look like the picture on the cover of the book "Look Me in the Eyes".
As a side note, my 15 year old with PDD-NOS had his school picture taken this year. I asked him why he didn't smile. Typical answer, "no one told me to".
:)

I disliked it because I can't pose a smile. I tried once and the picture looked really bad.
