Codename: Kids Next Door. It was like a mirror of the imaginary worlds that I used to play in. Strangely, I identified more with the Delightful Children from Down the Lane more than I did with the Kids Next Door. I seem to like hive mind characters. For a while, I was also obsessed with the Borg from Star Trek and the Borahk from the Bionicle saga.

-Monk, because I wished I could find a niche for myself and feel that the people around me knew how best to support me, as he had

-Ed, Edd and Eddy, I love Edd and although I don't think he has an ASD, his related traits are easy to relate to

-Star Trek TNG, for the sense of community. Also Deanna Troy (the empath) became a special interest

If we are talking Aspergers specific, then I suppose Sherlock Holmes TV series and films, which I was obsessed with, and Star Trek, largely because of Spock, who I most identified with.

I later found out that these two characters are often very appealing to Aspies, for obvious reasons.

I love the show Dexter, and find the main character very relatable. Not because he likes to kill people, but because he spends most of his time pretending to act normal.

Im showing my age here :) but I remember that I identified with this.

The Littlest Hobo

All three productions centered around a stray German Shepherd who wanders from town to town, helping people in need. Although the concept was similar to that of Lassie, the Littlest Hobo did not have an owner, and despite the attempts of the many people whom he helped to adopt him, he appeared to prefer to be on his own, and would head off by himself at the end of each episode.

When I was a teenager, I obsessed over "The Highlander" TV show. I saw a complex and in depth mythology in it. I wanted to see every episode they ever made. So for a few years, I watched reruns in syndication every day. Today I think it's a bit lame but back then, I lived and died for that show.

Kick Buttowski and Fanboy And Chum Chum because of their obsessiveness.

House and Lie To Me because of the character with seemingly no filter.
