I found Zoloft a bit too volatile for me as it has a smaller half life than some other anti-depressants (that is the time it takes to wear off). I found that if I forgot to take one day's pill I felt crap, forgot two days in a row and I felt ready die. I haven't had any real bad experiences with meds but Zoloft was the worst for me.

It made me feel as if I wasn't in my body. A weird feeling. I had the dosages tinkered with but it either made me feel more floaty or did nothing at all. I eventualy flushed my perscription and never had it refilled.

I had the same problems for a little while but it went away. My doctor called it autoscoptic and said it was a sign of anxiety. I keep taking it cause overall it has helped my mood a lot, I used to get uncontrollably angry or depressed at night.

I was on Zoloft three separate times over the past 6 years. It helped somewhat with anxiety which is why I went back to it after trying other ssris. But it never completely lifted me out of the low mood and emotional numbness. Everyone is different though so it may end up being the best med for you.
I would avoid trying to take the pill without water or a liquid. I tried that once in my car and I had to pull over grimacing in agony. Worst. Heartburn. Ever.
