Since you cite mainstream programs, you are part of a population large enough to sustain the advertising revenue that keeps them on the air. I suppose Robot Chicken isn't exactly mainstream, but it's certainly not some underground, fringe thing.

I enjoy, smart, satirical and just down right, nasty, dirty stand up comedy.

Robert Schimmel
Buddy Hackett
Lenny Bruce
Sam Kinison
George Carlin

All dead comedians and satirists. I guess you can laugh at death.

Not really a fan of Robot Chicken or Family Guy or anything like that myself. The older eps of The Simpsons are pretty funny though.

My sense of humour never really aged. During my editing exam about 2 years ago we had to edit an article about pools. One of the spelling mistakes for pools was poo. Haha XD
I also still laugh at other hilarious words, such as sham and refurbished. Pretty pathetic of me -_-'

i like funny words too. here is one that i find quite funny Discombobulate :D

I love South Park and The Simpsons. I used to love how Kenny dies but now he doesn't die anymore, it's rare now when he does. I also loved those prank calls Bart used to do but I think they ran out of funny names so he no longer does them anymore. Same as the reason why Kenny doesn't die anymore in every episode, they ran out of funny ideas to kill him.

I also love blond jokes and used to be obsessed with them. But now they have gotten old and some of them I don't even get. To me it's all repeats.

This blonde decides one day that she is sick and tired of all these
blonde jokes and how all blondes are perceived as stupid. So, she
decides to show her husband that blondes really are smart.
While her husband is off at work, she decides that she is going to paint
a couple of rooms in the house. The next day, right after her husband
leaves for work, she gets down to the task at hand.
Her husband arrives home at 5:30 and smells the distinctive smell of paint.
He walks into the living room and finds his wife lying on the
floor in a pool of sweat.. He notices that she is wearing a heavy parka
and a leather jacket at the same time. He goes over and asks her if she
if OK. She replies yes. He asks what she is doing and she replies
that she wanted to prove to him that not all blonde women are dumb, and she
wanted to do it by painting the house..
He then asks her why she has a parka over her leather jacket. She
replies that she was reading the directions on the paint can and it
said....

You'll love this...

Yep.. I know you will...

I tend to have little no boundaries for what I find funny. While others will say "too far", I simply don't care.

Luckily, I am good at knowing what jokes others will find offensive or whatever, and even more luckily, a few of my friends are similar to me in that respect, so we can exchange "bad" jokes :P

Presumably anything that gets made into a remotely successful TV show is going to represent the sense of humor of a fairly good-sized number of people so it doesn't sound that unusual.

I don't find those shows funny, however.

My "sense of humor" is mainly Black Humor. But I don't really laugh at jokes, I laugh at things I can see (Example: The Amazing Johnathan).

I like a lot of British comedy (IT Crowd, Peep Show, Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran, Mitchel & Web, Little Britain etc.) which most people I know do not find amusing in the slightest. Though, many of them thought The Hangover was a work of classical genius, so go figure...

"s**t can be scary. I took a s**t one time and it was black, and I know black s**t means something is wrong, and you know you can't call your wife in to look at your s**t. "Hunny, does my s**t look funny?" "Yes Bob, its a riot." So I call my Dad and I say "Hey Dad you're not gunna believe this - I just took a s**t and its black." He said "You're not gunna believe this - I'm in the middle of a confrence and your on speaker phone." - Robert Schimmel

One of my friends goes: "So, you know what really turns me on; when girls talk dirty in bed." Yeah I tried that with my wife. I said: "Hey, talk dirty to me." She said: "Go f**k yourself". Not that dirty. - Robert Schimmel
