1. Self-important people telling you what and how you should think.
2. Being in huge debt for an education you couldn't use (if you're like most people with AS and have a hard time keeping a good job)...also presumes your parents didn't have the money to send you to school.
3. Having YET ANOTHER environment where you're the oddball who doesn't quite fit in.
Really, you didn't miss that much.
Frankly, once you reach a certain age, lots of schools have discounted or free courses for the elderly, and you don't have to academically quality to be allowed to take the classes.
...For the last part (though I know you mean well...
): I'm not " elderly " , I want " credit " courses , I DO wish about/dream about " the college experience " (now I'm tearing up) 
, I thought back then " My teenage fun will start ! "... 
It's not like I'm projecting the MTV cliche " fratboy " thing , even a more " intellectual-bookish " --- Aspie

You'll start at your local community college, and we'll see how it goes from there.
As far as transcripts go, your state education association will have records - so don't start on about "I don't have my certificates with me".
When you start thinking "But, I'm not qualified to go to community college" - BS dude, you can take a class that doesn't even count for any credit at all.
If you want to go, I'll pay for a class - and you had better pass, or you won't get anymore classes.

I didnt finish highschool and was abused when i was a kid. maybe i should make a topic about how sorry my life is! also, I'm UGLY.
I never have any food in my house because i cant afford it, My rents too high, Apartments too small, I have to settle for a mini computer because i cant afford a normal sized one!
oh i could go on...
It seems to me that if ASS-P actually wanted any input on how to go back to college his post would relect that, i mean all it is is a bunch of complaining! he doesnt want any help, he wants to gripe!

in the last year and a half i've coinstintley only had 1 can of food to eat a day, 
mostely because i'm saving moneys for my fire agate ring
