I am, and I've already started my Christmas shopping, even though it's not even Thanksgiving yet. On Black Friday, instead of shopping, I spend time visiting family, such as my mom who now lives in Las Vegas. I've worked in retail on that day, so I've seen how bad it can be on that day.

LOVE CHRISTMAS!! !! I'm already planning Black Friday and looking over ads and budgeted $150-$200 (There might be a lot of videogames/DVD's on sale!) I have all 3 kids bought (both little sisters and nephew) I bought the nephew 2 $10 talking Woody & Buzz they are usually $40! But I got each for $10! (SEARS was getting rid of them after last Christmas!! !! !). I already bought a Toy Story Stocking. (It has Woody/Buzz throwing snowballs super CUTE! I also plan on getting Toy Story Santa Bags (to put the Buzz/Woody in) and Gift wrap the little sisters would like. I already have planned what I'm getting the older sister (She pointed something out a few weeks ago while shopping. Mom/Dad I'm not sure on. Nanny candles. I'm debating on getting dad a drill I'm not 100% sure. I'm happy though outside of putting Christmas gifts on 1 credit card and owing Mom/Dad $400 for there HDTV I don't have much debt so I can not worry about bills and buy the Ham and stuff although I've budgeted $240 for the month of November. I'll see how that goes. (That doesn't include Black Friday like I said I was thinking $150-$200. I love talking about my finances/Christmas plans sorry. I'm glad I can talk to someone about this interest without being blown off etc. Ahh being Aspie gotta love it! LOL!

My BF and I won't be home - a friend of his (his "mom," sorta) is taking us to a resort in W Va. We'll be decorating the rooms there, so we aren't planning to put up any decorations here. Well, except for the 7, 14 foot crape myrtles by the driveway, the 25 foot Dogwood on the other side of the driveway, and the 40 foot Crape Myrtle next to the house that have their branches wrapped with Christmas lights year round! 8O We likes us some Christmas around here!

It'll be the two of us, her, her son and his wife, and their 2 Auties - one boy, one girl. They are people I feel entirely comfortable with. I guess that my quirks don't seem so odd to folks who deal with 2 auties everyday - I can be myself around them! And everyone else is just far, far too proper to say anything if they notice anything unusual. 8)

The place is fabulous - we got to go for Thanksgiving last year - and I'm told that they go way over the top with decorations. They had started putting up decorations before we left last year, and I can't wait to see the whole place done up. There'll be live carols and choirs and stuff, which should be fun. There are pianos around in various lobbies, foyers, mezzanines, etc, which guests are encouraged to use and it's not unusual to find some VERY good musicians playing just for fun. I'm kinda into architecture, and I can spend hours wandering around looking at the buildings. I'm really looking forward to seeing the casino they added - it's supposed to be pretty spectacular (although I'll go when it's not crowded, so I can actually look at the structure). And if I get tired of that, it's 6600 acres - I can go wander the trails for more hours. And the food - ohmygod the food! I know it's unusual here, but I'm a foodie, and they make the MOST WONDERFUL food I've ever had. Happyhappyhappy! /me runs in circles wagging my tail

So, um, yeah. Maybe a little excited, yeah.

I have thought about decorating my apartment early because I am afraid next month be very hard and I won't be able to put up all the Christmas stuff because of my huge tummy and all the swelling I might get and I hear the last month of pregnancy is very hard. but since I also want to keep working, I would mind as well not put up my xmas stuff before Thanksgiving because if I can still work in my last month of pregnancy, I can put up Christmas stuff up then too. I plan on putting them up right after Thanksgiving.

I love the decorations and pretty soon my work place might have them up soon. Kohl's here was already playing Christmas music and had up the decorations.

My husband has already done some Christmas shopping. I don't really plan on buying anything except for my husband. I will also look forward to Christmas movies and playing Christmas music.

Here you go, brother.
I am already tired of Christmas. To keep it short allow me to present my grievences as a list, which are popular this time of year.
Dear Santa, This year I am tired of/burnt out on/otherwise disgruntled about the following:
Christmas stuff out before Halloween
Pictures of people in winter clothes when it's still warm out
Christmas music in every retail establishment
Rampant, disgusting commercialism
Red and Green
The looming "making of plans" that I dread every year
Having no money at all to buy anything for anyone and feeling terrible about it

I'll be happy about Christmas on Dec. 25th but not before.

Not too excited yet. Last year I got nothing but Publix gift cards from my family...like wtf...I know I was poor and living away from "home" at the time but I don't want food for christmas, gift cards are the devils invention. Just lets you know that people have money to give you but they don't like what you'd do with it.

If I have a good christmas this year it will be attributed to the giving of lots of CASH MONEY! Which I will turn around and spend on my car.

I'm getting excited about Christmas! It's exactly 6 weeks after my birthday. I'm already starting to figure out what I want: more Alice in Wonderland stuff for sure, but also some Doctor Who stuff as well.

xmas is the only time of year that i don't feel out of sorts. i would feel better if xmas decorations [lights and garland and such] were up year-round.

I hate Christmas. The only good thing about it is that the kids get to have literally the time of their year.

Hooray for common ground! Yes, the commercialism bothers me too. I don't like the idea it gives off; that you have to buy the biggest, most expensive gift for your loved one or dare face their unspeakable rage. It's all so ridiculous... The world, for the most part, has forgotten what Christmas is really about, I think.

I'm starting to get excited. Mr Bunneth and I have just bought our first house this year so we've decided to spend this Christmas at home without seeing either of our parents, so there's not going to be any family stress. I'm looking forward to taking it easy on Christmas day and having a champagne, strawberries and chocolate breakfast in bed. I'm going to wait until December though before putting up any decorations and playing Phil Spector's Christmas album on a loop :D

I think it's a bit boring and expensive.
