When I was in high school, I used to deliver papers for a friend when he was out of town or sick. Now, I was out at like 3:30am in the morning and the thing that scared me the most -- trucks. No, not pickups, but tractor trailers. I used to hide in the bushes when they would drive by ... sorta a Maximum Overdrive (the movie based on the Stephen King novel) -- but with out killer trucks ... or were they? *shakes in fear and runs into bed*
Oh god, that reminds me of one of my weird ones that might be my most intense... walking near or over train tracks. It instills absolute terror in me. Maybe it has something to do with that roller coaster incident. I need to get rid of that anyway.
I used to be terrified of spiders but I squarely faced that fear and decided to love them - respectfully. My life is better for it.
Happymusic you are a better person that I. Spiders are still on my Nixon Era Enemies List -- come to think of it, most anything that is cold blooded is also on my NEEL .... except for those cute tortoises ... moves so slow, so cute OMG!, they can bite! Another one for the list.
Also, I am scared of anything that is moving and you are more than 6 3/4 inches off the ground, so roller coasters, on the list.
Train tracks do bother me, not because I am brave or anything, but that goddamn tar smell. Makes me feel prehistoric in a bad way. I guess another one for NEEL.
