Only when there are misunderstandings {usually on my part}, or when I take everything literally. That bothers them. Otherwise, they are pretty good to me, and have been supportive of my shortcomings.

My mom is one of the nicest people I know. My dad is also pretty nice, but sometimes he gets impatient and snappish.

My parents are okay. They can be nice, but they can also have their moments.

Today we plan on going to the movies and dad said he'd pick up the 10 year old then pick me up and we can go eat. I mention we'll have popcorn then he said "Well she has to eat she hasn't had lunch!" (In a loud IMO harsh tone) I said oh ok. and now I feel bad. IMO he didn't have to be so mean about it!! He's always like this so I shouldn't let it bother me but I do. I need to start keeping my damn mouth shut more! and keeping to my room SHEESH!

Your dad should take better care of that child's health. Popcorn for lunch? Well I never!

I think it's just sarcasm, not really meaning to be mean. Then again, your family does say some harsh things to you.

My mum would say something like that to me. It's amazing she keeps forgetting that I don't always get sarcasm. I really just have to ignore it.

My mother means well. She's just thick as a brick, tbh.
