As a kid I couldn't concentrate enough to be good at video games but I still feel nostalgic about Sonic 2. I even got it on my phone.

Recently while I was staying with my sister and being aware of all my flaws I still managed to kick some serious a** at Harry Potter LEGO.

And like PunkyKat I was all about the Lion King and other cartoons. I had the videogame too but never beat the last level.

I could never get past the "I just can't waint to be king" level. I just wasn't very good at video games.

The imagery and music of Monster Party on the NES still brings me back to a place where I was a hero in the world of the dead, free and oblivious to the pain at school and at home.

That game is messed up =)

I have a lot of nostalgia for certain videogames. Heck, there are some that I don't even like anymore, but still play solely for the nostalgia.

I suppose they've helped me the most in gaining friends. Prettymuch all of my friends play, and I don't know where I'd be otherwise...

I did, at times, feel nostalgic for video games, but in the way of their music. It's like, in a way, the wordless music spoke to me at times, and it just felt happier than were I was at school. The chiptune music and odd situations were my escapes, I guess.

I was the same with cartoons. In fact, cartoon people were the only ones I related to in my younger years, and I still do a bit.
