As a kid I loved attention. That's why I did goofy things as a kid to get noticed. But when people give me attention when I am not even intentionally asking for it, I don't like it. It's like a double edge sword.

In general, I don't care for it at all, but it can occasionally be flattering. Even when it's flattering, though, it often makes me feel cornered.

Sometimes I hate it, sometimes I love it. For example, I hate the kind of situation where I come into a room full of people and everyone's looking at me. However, I do like the kind of situation where people ask me something that pertains to one of my special interests (like languages) and then everyone listens to what I have to say.
