Is anybody interested in electronics
When I was 9, my dad gave me his old RS 200-in-1 kit; oops. You know how kids what to make there parents happy. I got lucky in high school. The electronics intructor had a masters, and was a very hands on type guy.
I've focused mostly on the digital stuff, PIC's included. Now I'm getting interested in the analog circuits because I'm now working on apps that require them.
I was introducted to programming in my 6th grade keyboarding class. It was then that I realized that these blasted machines could be controlled.

Depending on the questions, you can use divide the wavelength (meters) into 3 million to give you an idea of the frequencies. Dividing frequency into 3 million will give you the band. Note, some round/fudging/judgement may be necessary.
