I'm also the Nerd wearing the Horn-Rimmed Glasses, sitting in front of the Screen, every waking hour of the day. :P

Applesauce. You probably just haven't found either the right programming language, or the right way to learn.

There are quite literally tens of thousands of computer languages. (Though a great majority are little more then just some Computer Science assignments)

You might find that a functional programming language like LISP is to your liking. It's very easy to learn the basics, and is very intuitive.

One of my crazy schemes I've had was coming up with ways to teach people how to program. My thought was that programming books don't seem to often be very helpful. Different people have different learning styles and all.

Come to think of it, it would be interesting to do a study to see how people on the Spectrum learn. Like if there's a strong tendency towards one area.

Forms and Menus are fairly abstract terms.

A menu is something where you have a selection of things, and you pick out one of them. Like in your web browser you'll (probably) see a thing that says 'file' with stuff like 'new' and 'close' in it. That's a menu. In many programs if you right click you'll also see a menu. With 'cut' and 'paste' in it.

A form is stuff that you insert information into. Like the thing you typed stuff in, and then pressed submit.

So either you understand what these things are without knowing what they're called...

or you did a sarcastic post. (Sarcasm is hard to tell sometimes)
