I always used to prefer (fairly) tight trousers, but the fashion changed and I can't get them any more......I suppose the ubiquitous modern slack trousers help me to blend into society a little better, though I don't like them as much. They move over my skin and irritate me. Though another reason for my preference might just be that it was a statement of youth and rebellion, back in the day, for guys to wear tight trousers. It was the kind of thing many parents didn't like their sons to do. Everybody young who I knew thought that men looked silly in baggy trousers.

It was good when the trousers were tight enough to stop the contents of my pockets from falling out. Modern "coin-catcher" pockets just make it difficult to get the coins out at all.

During the winter I have a pair of way oversized cargo pants and if I'm gonna be outside for a while I'll wear sweat pants under them. I'm usually able to get away with wearing short socks that way in the winter. When I was a kid I remember cutting off the stretchy part of my hoodies cause I couldn't stand them, it dosen't bother me so much now.
