I can't stop listening to the same song or same two songs for about a week, then somehow I move on to other artists. This week I'm into Electric Light Orchestra :D

Yes, except with not such dark music like H.I.M...
I can listen to one song for days (with breaks, of course...)
Like, I can listen to just one song on my iPod for a few days without listening to any of the other songs.

I do it too, its usually to songs that remind me of something. Right now its to 3 songs that remind me of the good times I had at a club on a cruise.

In my case, if it's not to get stuck in one specific song, I don't even bother listening to it.

I can't stop listening to the same group, but that doesn't bother me. It's a part of my identity. 8)

I usually listen to all my favorite songs first, then other ones. :D Quite often I'll start a song over several times before I finish it.

About a year ago I listened to the intro of this song probably 100 times straight, it's just so epic, and gets more epic the higher the volume is

Also, several days ago I listened to this intro to YYZ by Rush like 10 times in a row, it's awesome too. And Neil Peart is a crazy drummer.

Yes, always.
But not songs, as such - it's usually a Bach or Buxtehude organ/harpsichord piece that really grabs my attention.

I'll listen to it about 10 times one after the other and repeat this process with a few hours' gap between over several days, as necessary, until I know I have it note-perfect inside my head.
Then I can play it back internally and study it any time I like!

This is how I always listen to music. However I do not often do it with full songs, just parts from the songs (e.g. a guitar solo), I can listen to parts of songs for days straight and keep myself up at night doing it. They could just be 20 second parts that I would be listening for hours upon hours. Normally I have these parts for all the songs in my library, and whenever I listen a song I do not listen the full song, just the small parts, I could really care less for the songs as wholes.

Like others, I also get stuck on pretty much everything. Once I find something I enjoy and have the time and energy to do I get totally obsessed with it. I get stuck on music, movies, games, books, and pretty much any type of hobbies or activities.

I often watch the same documentaries and movies over and over again, listen to the same music over and over, etc.

After watching a movie for around the 25th time I watch the commentary about 50 times so I can know all about the making of the movie. I prefer movies' commentaries over the actual movies.

I had complaints from neighbours once because I was playing the same song over and over so now I wear headphones!

:D Yes, I 've listened to a same song over and over and over again for long periods of time before. In fact, I'm listening to one right now!

Yes, I've been doing it all my life.
My "worst" case was when I had one track (39 sec) playing for more than 9 hours, so it means I listened to it more than 800 times in a row

I definitely do this a lot with songs and with books. If it's a book or song I really like, I can read or listen to it over and over for days, then later on forget about it for a while until I come across it again. Afterwards, I still find it very enjoyable, but not as addictive as when I was first listening/reading repeatedly.
