Cannabis has had a great impact on my life. As a visual thinker it helps me in writing, which is my employ. It is the only medicine I use for migraines. My GP prescribed me a few different types of medication for my migraines that make me feel very sick and only get rid of migraines after some time. Not with Cannabis. My migraine with aura goes away before I'm done toking that s***, and my doctor actually refuses to believe me and instead keeps trying to give me different medications with the same active ingredient. I have a genetic heart defect and since these medications are blood vessel dilators it causes me extreme physical discomfort and heart palpitations. In terms of anxiety, it really helps me, though my girlfriend who suffers from anxiety (non-ASD related) finds it makes it worse for her, so obviously it is different for everybody. My only problem with cannabis as a cure is that it does impair some of my abilities and thus I never smoke at work or school, so if I get a migraine there, there is nothing I can do. I would like to see a non-psychoactive derivative of THC created specifically for migraine sufferers like me who are unwilling to smoke cannabis at work or school for obvious reasons.

If you want to get as close as you can to isolating the beneficial chemicals in weed like you said before, I suggest a vaporiser if you can afford one.

Yes, or eat it.

Controversially, smoking it mixed with tobacco helps to ward off schizophrenia and reduces psychotic episode!

I actually have a vaporizer, but my problem isn't with the 'smoking' but rather with having a buzz while I work my full time job or go to school. I don't get high and take care of business unless that business is writing or some clear Friday nights when I take out my telescope, consult the charts for something interesting to look at and burn one (generally the only time I recreationally smoke). So what I mean is, a THC-like compound without psychoactive effects that could be used in the workplace, or at least, much lesser psychoactive effects that are not obvious

That'll be cannabidiol (CBD). Not all weed has enough of it in. Hash is usually ok but can be adulterated so avoid unless you know how to tell what's what. The people at UCI are looking at CBD for autistic children right now, and GW Pharma have attempted to balance the THC/CBD in Sativex in a 2.7/2.5 ratio so that it doesn't make users too high.

This is important if you want to have a job, but if you just want to stop biting people then high-THC weed will do the job, too much of it will make you sleep, guaranteed.

Marinol (synthetic THC) should probably be avoided - it's a bit spikey and gives people the jumps!
