I love board games. It's a social situation that I do well at. I suppose that is because it is a very structured environment, with clearly defined rules.

The only board game I liked was Mouse Trap.

However, if someone's willing I have a few Doctor Who board games that I'd like to play with someone.

I used to love board games. Now I only kind of like them. It depends on who I'm playing with. But I generally don't like them as much now.

I don't think I ever finished a game of Monopoly. Anything that involves planning or subterfuge is too much for me with my executive dysfunction/add-ness. I probably play 2-3 games of computer Scrabble a day recently. I'm a word nerd.

I LOVE Monopoly...unfortunately I had no one to play it with as a child and my mother hated the game so I had to attempt to play alone, which just isn't as much fun...although alone or with others I still always loose :D

I don't mind boardgames or card games, I'm terrible at them but they can be a good way to pass time, I do however HATE silly games like hangman, pictionary, and charades - games that require joining in on the fun, where the rules are flimsy...also these are the sort of games they try to force you to play at school parties or at work when they're played as part of 'getting to know you' and as a way for management to pretend they're fun. I hate enforced fun...it's not fun.

I've always loved games (board, card, video, thread).
I still love games.

Yes. I find that sort of thing is never enjoyable, but for some reason they do it anyway.

Indeed, it's annoying.

I love games, but I'm more about games that involves skill, and less about random kinds of gameplay. I don't mind if a game has random element/s as long as there's some skill involved. I don't like games which has purely random gameplay; although if I do play those types of games, I'm trying to be social.

Used to play a lot of card games with my family. I appreciate this about card games: There's the random element of shuffling the cards (so that each game is practically never the same), and you use skill to play effectively with the cards you have been dealt.

And I used to play chess with my brother but now I've become rusty and I'm practically a beginner again.

Cheers.

I always hated games as a kid, and refuse to play them now. I remember being at school, forced to play things like "duck-duck-goose" in a circle with the other kids, and I just felt exposed and stupid and put on the spot. I would rather have watched. I couldn't feel enjoyment, so couldn't enjoy it. I've never been competitive, and felt bad about the whole winning/losing scenario because either way felt awkward. Never seemed to understand why games were "fun."
Like many people here, I like chess, because I always played with a bunch of older men, and it wasn't about winning or losing, or "beating" someone else, it was about learning and collaborating, and concentrating on the game and how we could improve at it by playing each other. Plus I was always the pupil, so they were coming from the perspective of teaching me, not trying to beat me.

I like some. I find Monopoly to be fairly tedious.

I like video games, some card games, Risk, chess, backgammon, and roleplaying games. Long evenings of card games I want to die .. I guess Uker is fun...spades/hearts is fun. Poker is annoying. My next most unfavorite thing is being invited over and watch DVDs. I hate sitting in someone's house and watching a movie. I like films but they have to be fan-fing-tastic for me to be able to sit through them without a pause or 2 or 3. I also don't have to hear every word, most movies are so predictable I can miss parts and don't even care.
