Fahren is German for 'to drive.' When conjugated to 'er/sie/es fahrt' it means 'he/she/it drives.' My German teacher calls it the farting verb, haha. It is the only conjugated form of fahren that looks like fart and the class snickered when someone conjugated it improperly and the teacher said, "No, there is no farting here."
Not to give you a lesson, but just to dispel some possible confusion (plus, I think the conjugation of verbs is very interesting). Yes, the same word (verb) in German is said different ways depending on the subject doing the verb.
ich fahre - I drive
du fahrst - you drive
er/sie/es fahrt - he/she/it drives
wir fahren - we drive
ihr fährt - you (plural) drive
Sie fahren - you (singular, formal)

On a more related note, I still think farts are funny. To imagine that sound coming from the body is what I find funny about them, plus, they are mostly bacteria farts! It's the bacteria in our digestive systems that are doing the farting. We are just passing it along to the outside world so we don't explode.
The copius amount of farts in Family Guy sort of seem to make or break the show. If the viewer think farts are remotely funny or doesn't care about them, Fam Guy can count +1 fan. But if the viewer is like my mother and finds them disgusting, Fam Guy can count +0 fans, like my mom.
Also, anyone see the South Park episode about the plotline: "Guys farting and laughing and it's funny but women queefing is gross and should not be allowed?"

I love the "exit" signs on the autobahn that say "ausfahrt".

My little daughter asked me to cuddle and squeeze her when she was going to bed tonight, and released an almighty fart when I did squeeze, which she thought was hilarious. You should go to Sweden - fart means speed in Swedish and infart means entrance. Much to the delight of every English speaker

I knew a guy with Asperger's who would constantly fart in the middle of class. The smell sure as hell didn't bother him.
