yep, us girlfriends take up a lot of time.
i know my boyfriend sees less of his friends now.
we prefer to spend our time with each other, alone.
and constantly calling will push him toward her more.

I guess I could call myself rude, jamesy, because I don't bother to respond to people a lot. Some times I just feel that I have nothing to say, and I tend to feel that other people are that way as well. I had problems with a friend who always said "I'll call you tomorrow night!" or something, just as a way of saying goodbye. I later realized that he didn't really care about the timing of it all. He just sort of meant that we'd talk at some point soon. Was it inconsistent and rude? Yes, I guess so, but once I decided that I wasn't bothered by it, then things were fine.

I am not so good at making friends too, for the most part. The internet though has been a great place for me to experiment with interests and develop some friendships that have a smaller amount of substance to them. I have been mildly interested in learning more about myself and ASD's, so I read some posts here, and yours was interesting enough for me to get a login and respond.
