I find these IQ tests frustrating, because they seem to dwell on exercising the part of the brain that does math. For an Aspie with Dyscalculia, I score low because of the timing of such tests, and I find that they hardly seem to dwell on language and vocabulary, which I excel at. I completely suck at math, and take forever to answer any kind of math equation. I can answer such questions, just not quickly. :?

I was tested as a child first when I lived in Georgia, then when I moved to Texas. It was for our school g/t programs. They were 2 points apart. :)

Mine has been all over the map
The lowest score I got in the 3rd grade was 56 which was on a regular IQ test, but 8 months later I was given a non-verbal IQ test and scored 135, but my last IQ score, in my 20's...a regular IQ test was, 120. So I just go by my non verbal score of 135. The doctor said I had a very severe language based learning disability which accounted for the difference in the 2 numbers. I have made alot of progress as far as that goes though.

Was 146 before my personalities merged a while ago. My IQ now after the merge, is about 159.

I really don't agree. I am absolute s**t at math. Adding is even hard for me sometimes.

But I do feel special for being the only one in my catagory. :D

Even discounting online tests, there are various IQ tests IRL too.

My IQ is 164...with average being around 140.
Whatever IQ test this was, I'm not sure it was a standard IQ test :|

This one was done in high school via learning support as I needed special consideration for my French verbal exams given my inability to speak in front of people - it wasn't given to me, due to no one bothering to tell learning support what the problem was. Now I'd dread to think what my IQ is, I've since had what are suspected to be multiple minor strokes, I swear I have some sort of brain damage as a result, and hell I don't even think I'd be able to sit and focus for that long.

You're a multiple? Or you were a multiple?

I took an IQ test when I was in the army and they told me I had an above average IQ. But when I took when in August it said I was just average but with an above average verbal IQ. The doctor who gave me the IQ test said it was due memory issues. The test I took in the army did not really deal with memory. I would like to take it again to see how I would do.

One thing about IQ tests you really cannot prove the poster wrong it is like asking a man his penis size you know some men add an inch or two so I would not doubt some have added 10-20 points. :P

My last one was 85. Probably lower if I took one now (since I've been on a steady and significant downward trend my whole life, and it's been 8 years), but I've had no need to and therefore no desire to. I've only ever had them as part of mandatory testing, never deliberately took one. I do really badly even on the Internet tests most times, except that one with the grid patterns (that was also one of my stronger points on the real test). The high points of my brain are either not part of IQ tests, or not a big part of them.

You know, a lot of people don't think IQ tests measure anything useful. They have cultural biases and rely on stuff like fast processing speed (as opposed to ability to evaluate situations, learn new things, whatever).

I wonder whose IQ is below 55.
