Getting bored easily is an ADD trait. I have ADD.

I have a low boredom threshold. I have to be constantly doing something. I cannot listen to music alone, I must read/walk/go on the internet/exercise/etc at the same time.

I have friends who can just sit on their bed and stare at the wall. I cannot do that for more than 30 seconds without jumping off my bed and getting a book out.

That's an interesting question.
I do get bored occasionally but rarely. Usually, Sunday afternoon/evening when I'm depressed about having to go to work the next day.

Most of my time is spend researching my Special Interest. I?ve either got my computer, smartphone or kindle with me so my Special Interests are never far from me. They keep me from getting bored. As I said, interesting question. I?d never even thought about the fact that my Special Interests prevent me from getting bored. They take up all of my free time (and quite a lot of my work/chores time) and time I should be sleeping.

I also have the ability to do very boring, repetitious, tedious work for hour on end without needing a break (or to socialise LOL!). Once I?m focused, nothing can distract me. I?ll just sit there and go. The only exception to this is if the work is extremely boring, then I'll start researching my Special Interest (like I'm doing now. work don't know about this - I don't think :? )

I don't really notice myself getting bored that often....I can actually become completely immersed in doing one single, solitary activity for hours on end, whether it's drawing, daydreaming, stimming or looking at stuff online. I'm always amazed at how the time gets away from me. The only time I truly get bored is when I'm in a place like my math class or something, and have no means of stimulating or occupying myself the way I normally do.

I'm never bored, but I know I am a boring person to be with.

I don't really get bored.

I am easily entertained. I once spent about 30 minutes just rolling a bouncy ball back and forth across a table (during break at work; people thought I was crazy). When at home, I always have something to do related to my interests.
If nothing else, I can "daydream" or work on one of my ideas in my head.

As long as I can do what I'm into, I am hardly ever bored. There is always something to read IRL or online, or a video /board/ card game to play, or even just something interesting to think about or daydream about. So having nothing to do is not a problem at all, off into my head I go!
Extremely rarely I have an off day when nothing tempts me, everything is just meh, but that really is extremely rare.

The only thing that bores me out of my mind is when I'm stuck doing something I find boring (like when I was in school that was math, or writing or reading something uninteresting). As long as I can avoid that, I am far from easily bored. Boring things still make my brain go to sleep. For instance, lexicon language and reading rules for games will make me yawn immediately.

I can be very easily entertained. My mother recently took some medication. It was a pill she put in a glass of water, and waited for it dissolve. the pill would move about and start "jumping" up on the sides of the glass as it reacted with the water. I watched in fascination every time. I didn't tire of it.

It seems like more of an ADD trait than an aspie trait, but it's definitely something I have issues with. I get bored really easily, and when I'm bored, I tend to feel down on myself. That being said, things that bore other people can sometimes amuse me or at least keep me occupied, like when I'm fixing a computer or reading random articles on Wikipedia.

It is a sociopathic/psychopathic trait, and sociopathy can be derived or develop from Aspergers. Though it's a strange combo to have, as I am frequently bored (forcing me to work almost constantly on SOMETHING, and being very productive almost all the time), but I also easily become fixated on certain things, or fascinated by new ideas and concepts.

So you CAN have vivid imagination and the ability to fixate on things, yet still fall into boredom constantly. It's actually quite a source of frustration at times. It's simply best to find hobbies and master them.
