Well I believe my birthday has a sort of a sanctity about it. Yes, April 1st is my birthday. I would prefer it if it wasn't "april fool's day," so people don't turn my birthday into a sort of joke and a carnival. It's not my friends who do it of course. Of course people use the day as an excuse to show immaturity. But I think it's pretty special, because it's my birthday!

Happy Birthday :)

I can manage April Fools Day because I tend not to get up until the afternoon...what I dislike is when people continue playing the jokes and trying to trick me throughout the day - on the plus side yes I may be more prone to tricks, particularly when not expecting them later in the day, but I do then get to point out how stupid they are for not realising April Fools ends at 12pm so tricking me makes THEM the fool.

I thought it ended at midnight when it's April second. It starts at 12:00 AM on April 1st and ends 12:00AM April 2nd because April 1st is over.

Why says it ends at noon?

Edit: This must be in the UK only because here I have never heard of it ending at noon.

I've always hated it, too. I never find any of the "jokes" funny, but rather very annoying.

Agreed. I think it is a waste of time. It is hard to know whether someone is serious or not about something.

I found out on Babycenter this must be a frustrating day for some people because people don't take news seriously, good ones and bad ones when they are told it because they think it's an AF joke.

I've always hated April Fool's Day. I find it annoying when people try to pull tricks or pranks on me and I'm fed up with it.

When I was younger people would pull tricks and pranks on me all the time on any day of the year, so April Fool's Day was never a "one off" for me, it felt like the same mean pranks as the rest of the year, only people could justify themselves on this day and brag about their pranks more. Maybe I'd have more humor for April Fool's pranks if people let me alone on other days of the year, but they don't, so when people try to pull tricks or pranks on me on April Fool's Day it just feels like they're adding insult to injury.
