I knew someone on another site who would talk to herself using different accounts. On one account, she'd even refer to her real self as if she were another person (like, "I'll tell ___ about..."). I knew they were both her, because she'd said so at some point, which just made it annoying. But people who hadn't seen her say that must have assumed it was 2 different people. That kind of thing just makes social interaction way more confusing.
