I did not have a party, well at least not that I invited people to. Some close family came over but that always happens in my family on occations like this.

I stopprd having "parties" for my birthdays when I was 10 or 11 I think, I never liked them really, least of all mine since I do not like the attention.

I just looked it up online: it was on a Monday, so I probably went to work, plus I was planning the big move out of my parents' house.

I had been trying to move out of their house since I was 12 years old (and yes, I did have somewhere to go), but my mom always yelled at me that I couldn't move out until I was 18, so within a month of turning 18, I was out - within a year I had moved over a thousand miles away just to get away from my family. It was great.

I love getting older - I get happier as I get older because I know a little more about myself every year.

If I remember rightly, I went to the cinema and to a restaurant with my family. I don't normally make a big thing out of birthdays.

Never had a real birthday party with friends after middle school. Because my birthday is the day before Halloween, it wasn't worth s**t to my friends in favor of Halloween events that took place around that time.

I'm sure I had a family gathering type birthday. Rather pathetic for both my sweet 16th and 18th birthdays.

I wish it could be treated as normal day now.

Be thankful... my cousin's birthday was ON Halloween and I had a coworker one time who was born on February 29th... he only got a real birthday once every four years.

As for me, good grief, how can I remember in spite of my excellent long term memory... that was over 42 years ago and probably not really worth remembering. I had just learned about sexual self-gratification less than a month earlier (I was a very late bloomer... now that was worth remembering) so I was probably looking forward to doing that at sometime during the day. With my late August birthday, I was also preparing to head off to college a couple of weeks later so that thought probably filled my mind with apprehension. Other than that, I really don't remember what I did on that day.

Now I DO remember my fifth birthday and the red toy fire engine I got for my birthday. And I DO remember my 33rd birthday when my boss kept me at work until nearly midnight analyzing some data that nobody else could do. By the time I got home I could only drink a beer and go to bed to prepare for another day of work.

I went to some Happy 18th Hailey's comet party! I had one beer and sat in the corner. Oh in the morning i had to perform solo in front of a packed audience and i bought myself a slice of cake from the uni cafe for lunch (I didn't eat it because i was anorexic at the time).

My family forgot about it. :D

For my 21st, I had lunch with my brother and his wife, bough a new couch and went to dinner with my mum. I was 21 weeks pregnant and the day before i had a scan that said that my son had extra long limbs for his gestation and so i was freaking out. My brother and sister had a huge fight the day before my birthday so obviously we couldn't have dinner together. Meh.

I am too! See my "Does anyone else love going out?" topic on this board. Peeps are questioning my diagnosis because "You CAN'T enjoy parties, they're too scary!" Uh, it's called, man up and learn the proper social behaviors for that environment so that your anxiety is lessened.

My parents threw me a birthday party that devolved into a theological argument.

A girl i knew showed up at my house just to wish me a happy birthday so i left with her, without bothering to tell my family.

Last time I had a birthday party was when I turned 13. Even then, it wasn't a big party, just 3 friends of mine (most I've ever had). When I turned 14 I spent the day playing supreme commander on my "new" computer with an AMD Athlon x2 6000+, 1GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce 8600GT. For my 15th birthday, I spent the day playing Warhawk on the PS3 with my dad. I was extremely sick for my 16th birthday (it lasted for almost 3 months), but that did not stop me from having fun playing MAG. Most people would probably not think of those days as anything special, but for me they were. I will never forget the first time I ran around inside the objective complex in a domination match with 255 other people. The sad thing is, I can't remember what I did just a few weeks ago for my 17th birthday. I don't remember doing anything exciting, not even from my point of view. I don't think I'll be doing anything exciting for my 18th birthday either.

I never had any kind of party. I just got really drunk/high and had a one night stand. :-\
