*laugh* I'm so glad to have a thread like this!

One of my teachers put me in charge of organizing artwork for an exhibit. That, plus having my ipod on and going into my usual daydreams (in which I developed another version of one of my more interesting characters), made me extremely happy/relaxed.

Although she expresses disdain that all of my characters are animated, the same teacher has shown great excitement about my overactive imagination. She might be the first one I tell my mental stories too in forever.

I did a painting last week that was one of my favorites that I've done ever. I'll try to get the photos up once my neighbor gives me my camera back.

Awesome!! ! Keep it up folks. I am in bed at 9:00PM to give myself some rest this time. Usually I push myself at the gym or at football practive after a whirlwind trip but I am learning to take better care of myself.

I like this thread.
My focus allowed me to write a good chunk of an orchestral work in a short amount of time.

I wrote a good essay today. Sometimes, the words just won't cooperate; but this time, they did, and I think I really managed some useful communication.

I'm almost finished with a brown-and-white afghan. It will join seven other handmade blankets (and probably another yet to be made) in a big bag for donation to Project Linus at the end of this month when my school holds a blanket-making marathon. I talked to the woman in charge of the event, and she says they can definitely use someone who knows how to crochet.

Also, I think my cats are finally approaching a truce, though ownership of the big cardboard box in the living room is still a disputed factor in the peace talks.

I just found out tonight that I can start teaching computer robotics to children this fall. :) It's a new business venture I'm planning and I will hopefully have a group for ASD kids that will let them socialize and learn team skills.

I get to use some of my old computer skills and gain some new ones, so I'm very happy.

Thanks for the thread!

I got a new job yesterday. My significant other and I now have a combined income of about $86k, which is sky high for the (economically devastated) area we live in.

"The median household income in the United States is $46,326."

If you're American at all, you're doing well. Congrats!

I don't really see much of the so-called "negativity" on the forum... maybe I'm just oblivious to it all?

But as for good things happening, I'm almost ready for a biology exam today and I made myself a nice breakfast! I think it'll go pretty well. I'm psyched that I'm actually understanding the material better than ever before!

Thanks! I think it went pretty well, but I am always brain dead after I am done. :)

I teach an art class. This horse is one of my student's pieces. While I cannot take credit for his natural ability, I can take credit for showing him how to unlock his potential. I am quite proud of his progress.

This is NOT a photograph, it is a pencil drawing.
