I am more sensitive to pain so I never did any of that. But I have always been fascinated by scabs and cuts on me so I would pick at them until they bled. As for cuts, I picked at them until it hurt too much. Or if I had a callous, I would stick a needle through it for fun. Hehe.
And I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who did the glue thing. I also do that with actual skin, however. And then of course it hurts to the depths of hell the next day.

I remember in high school I used safety pins to separate the skin on my fingers and palms and peel it off. I remember doing this fairly frequently. I also peeled my nails off to the quick and they bled.

When I was younger I did other things for pain, like biting my own skin and pinching with clothespins.

I got back into punching myself in the face. When ever I got a small injury in the past I would for some reason take something sharp and make the wound bigger. I’d also scratch up my arm sometimes. There have been times where I karate chop my neck and similar stuff just to feel release the endorphins and adrenaline. Whenever I get ingrown toenails I’ll clip under the skin or try to pluck it out to relieve the pressure

not intentional self harm except as experimenting to see what happened. I was interested in blood and scabs an did a lot of surface injury for a time (age 5 to 6?) trying to understand the process. Cutting, scraping, poking myself with pins to see the blood come, see how it scabbed over, picking the scabs... I used to put rubber bands around my fingers until I made them turn blue because I was interested in the tingling sensation when the blood went back into the finger... I stopped when my mother explained how it was bad for me and how worried she was about me doing it.
I forgot about a lot of these things until this discussion revived the memories, at age 70, that was very very long ago!

Yeah.

Last time I went a little too far and haven't done it since; I own it and it was all on me. Well, I still do punches and such, but they don't really count as self-harm to me; I've had a black eye of sorts for a while now. :|

Whatever works, I guess.
