Do people *actively* avoid you?

It happened to me when I was a lot younger, in grade school. It hasn't really happened since I graduated from High School.

There are certain people who I actively avoid. I feel badly about it. I can be very rude..but there are times when I have no choice but be around him...and the sound of his voice and the clattering of his dishes and such is very unnerving and disorienting to me....I get dizzy and panicy....I have to wear my ear muffs to muffle the sound...he makes me skittish and jumpy and I CAN NOT SPEAK to him ever since this time when I was having a meltdown and yelled at him....
He now lives at the venue which I helped found, and I can't get past the hurdle. I wish I could be more grownup about it..but very very hard.......
Yes people have actively avoided me too..only occasionally has it been very noticeable to me. It made me feel badly as I did not quite understand the reason, necc...
