that's what i am like. i get mortified about things that apparently are no big deal, but as anyone can tell i have a lack of embarrassment about other things. perhaps it is more like a lack of shame in my case.

also, like Kon i have almost-constant anxiety, which is a heck of a lot like pre-situational embarrassment.

I am embarrassed by things that other people aren't and not embarrassed by things that other people are. For example, when I get an injury, I get embarrassed about the fact that I am injured, regardless of how many people were around. I think this might be partly related to the fact that I don't like sympathy when I am physically hurt. I don't seem to mind it when I am emotionally hurt though.
