Yeah, that, plus there are a ton of NTs who don't exactly feel "completely normal and accepted", so it's not exactly effectively discriminative.

YMNBAAI...

Nothing interests you.

You follow the latest trends in fashion like a religion.

You would rather wear something that looks good than something that's comfortable.

You never think for yourself.

You have multiple best friends.

Your idea of a good time is going to a party.

You feel that you need people to be around you at all times.

You can't fix things yourself, because you don't know or care how they work.

You can't say anything about yourself that makes you different from the average person. By definition, you ARE the average person.

I think if you're texting to your local friends at least 1 hour a day, you're probably NT. Maybe that should be widened to "socializing", in general.

You mean there's a real person on the other end of that text message?

Not if the "thing" you're texting with is an AI chat program on your computer who's your local friend. 8O

Also, I'll add another one:

If you text and drive, you're definitely NT. (*thinks to self* Maybe I should start practicing texting and attempt driving and texting at the same time to prove I'm not aspie... hmmm....)

You're not an aspie if you think people should send out thank you cards

You're not an aspie if you follow rules you were taught just because the grown up told you so and you never saw any logic behind why that rule exists but still follow it anyway.

You're not an aspie if you are married or have kids

You're not an aspie if you can work and have held down a job

You're not an aspie if no one ever calls you out on things they thought you did wrong

You're not an aspie if you like to spend time with your family

You're not an aspie if you don't mind going to parties or family gatherings

You're not an aspie if you go to concerts

You're not an aspie if you can go to malls and amusement parks without a sensory overload

You're not an aspie if you can't hear florescent lights

According to this I must be an NT. :P

I actually have been sitting here, reading about Lady Gaga and her "Little Monster" following. It absolutely confounds me. All these new music videos actually scare me, and the music makes me feel hypnotized and drugged. My head is so muddled after it.
I don't understand it at all.

Wait, really? But I like her poker face song. Does that really mean I'm not an aspie?

Here it is for everyone to easily confirm:

What if I want to defy you guys and do some of the things you listed just because you said I wouldn't if I wasn't an Aspie? Is that AS, NT, or something else altogether? :P

Really? I can write SMS and hold a conversation at the same time.. trust me - I'm AS.

Driving and SMS requires a little bit more multi-tasking. If you can do that, then you've disproven the claim.

I don't agree, but I don't like to spend time with my family.

I wouldn't know. I do hate it, though.

Not true. I see your point, and I have it the same way. I do however not think this is 100% true.

Sorry. Big fail. And this is what I feel is wrong with this person. Lady Gaga have no nerve. It's all simple. Nothing left to the observer/listener. For my own part I need some mind-boggling, or at the minimum a chance to use my mind to interpret something.
This chance is not there with Lady Gaga. She is competing for the title of Queen of Musical Schemas.
(Yes, I'm a sound engineer. Sorry.)

Thanks for your input, as one of the 9 out of 10 people in this world who are Gaga haters. (We all know there are haters for just about every music artist, so your opinion is only elongating the thread. We need a "false positive" here, not a "true negative".)
