Same here and I would wear a coat well into the spring and summer and cant wait for the cooler weather so I can wear my hoodies again-they are comforting to wear-I know it sounds strange.

I've worn many, many types of clothing in my years, but for me, I know this is different from a lot of the posters here, but I can't stand anything really tight-fitting, or anything composed of material which is too thin, if that's a way of putting it, as it makes me cringe.

That's why when I saw a guy walking down the road in denim, leather and patches, I thought "That may be the answer", so now I go for the rocker feel, denim, leather (Sometimes, and it's never real leather, I have convictions about that) and baggy jeans. It's also the feeling of looseness that I like. It's heavy, but it's loose at the same time.

When I play guitar I like to feel as loose as possible, so I dress accordingly. A shirt and a pair of long shorts. The pub I play in every week on jam night has multicoloured lights above the stage area and it gets really hot, after about 15 minutes, one could walk off stage full of sweat, I can't totally avoid it but I try to minimise it by cooling myself down.

(This is just me)

Your coat is like your security blanket, it hides you from the world a little - I used to be unable to go anywhere without a coat, even in the summer, I can go without a coat now...but still sometimes wear a coat even if I'm hot, it doesn't occur to me to take it off.

I'm that way. I'll wear my coat far into the months after it's appropriate to wear it. I even leave it on indoors. I hate summer because I can't get away with wearing my coat.

I also tend to wear the same things multiple days in a row. I just never take it off. I don't wear the same thing for a whole month though.

I prefer loose fitting clothing to tight clothing but can wear either.

My little sister used to sleep in her coat. No matter what my mother said to her.

I leave my heating off in the cold, so I can wear my coat inside.
Cold weather is always better, for the coat, it really is like a security blanket.

I can't stand tight jumpers/t-shirts/shirts (I'm ok with tight jeans). They make me claustrophobic or they just feel wrong. I never wear light coloured trousers/jeans. Always black and sometimes, if I have to, dark blue. When it comes to shoes I have two pair of shoes I like and when I buy new one they have to be the exact same model or very similar to the old ones.

Another one for the 'fitted shirts' crowd: loose clothes keep brushing your skin at unexpected moments.
As such I always wear the same soft cotton (very specific, some are just to scratchy and non-natural fibers usually feel 'wrong' too) tight shirt with long sleeves, and either pants I've had for ages so I know how they feel or cotton-based thights with an over-the-knee skirt. The upside of this is that it allows for some 'feeling pretty' while still being sensory-okay.

Colour-wise I seem to gravitate towards greys and dark blues or greens. Harsh colours (such as black or red) must not be close to my face: they make me feel like they'd overtake me.

Regarding the hoody comment: indeed, only with something tight underneath :)

I prefer loose fitting clothing. I tend to stay away from heavy clothing. My socks have to be put on just right so I don't feel any wrinkles or seams.

I feel my clothes all the time. It was why in the pre-teens/early teens when my clothes were still brought for me I preferred loose shirts and pants as I was uncomfortable about some materials touching my skin and driving me mad over the course of minutes and hours.

Nowadays, I prefer clothes to be, well, fitting in a good, normal way to avoid an excess of material randomly/unexpectedly brushing against my skin. Ultimately, I feel least bothered in shorts and short-sleeved shirts.

Like many of the other posters here, everything I wear has to be loose and light, even my shoes. If I have to wear normal shoes (cheap skater shoes) and socks one day I just end up in a bad mood. My wardrobe consists of about twenty t-shirts, ten identical hoodies, and a ton of pairs of pajama pants and basketball shorts. I usually wear the same thing for a maximum of three days in a row, then go hunt down another outfit that is pretty much identical. Most of the year I wear baggy shorts (with huge pockets!), velcro sandals, a men's tank top, and a black hoodie with the sleeves rolled up. In the summer the hoodie turns into a t-shirt and I have to go hunt down my meager bra collection. Everything is totally baggy and worn down, and it all comes from the cheap section of the men's department. And none of it ever "matches".
Every year in school I would be wearing the exact same thing.. It got to the point that my family didn't buy school photos for two years because I never changed.

I go back and forth between tight and baggy. I can't handle clothes that are tight in only one spot for instance tights w/ a tight waistband is a no-no. I often get criticized in the summer for not wearing enough clothes. I look like a ho sometimes. I get over-heated easy. I wear a tank top and short shorts most of the time.

I get cold in the winter easy too, so I will wear layers. Tight layers under loose ones. I have a black skirt I wear over leggings all the time in the winter. A tight tee tee under my black hoodie and my black boots completes my outifit. That is my winter "uniform".
