Getting back to the OP's point...

I've heard it referred to as Assburger's and the idea that something such as this can be compared to the eating of a buttocks between a bun somewhat amuses me.

So be grateful you heard it as that rather than how I mentioned. :D

Hahaha :D that's funny

"People with that are ret*d, right?"

I usually get "assburgers" when I bring it up.

:D I just started saying "I have high- functioning Autism". That's simpler for me to say because I tend to pronounce Aspergers as Ass- burgers, myself! :P
By the way, I'd never heard of it being called "asparagus syndrome" before this post! hahaha!...

Most people when I tell them don't know what it is and don't even care. When they don't know what something is exactly they're just gonna push the condition in the back of their minds and just assume that I'm normal. Five minutes later I will get all kinds of s**t from these guys from having poor eye contact, poor social skills etc. The failure of such people to put two and two together is amazing.

:D :D :D This makes me Laugh!! !! !

:) What do people say when you tell them about your Asperger's? :)

You know if you translate English 'asparagus' to French you'll get 'asperges'...so actually they're not too far off when they call it 'Asparagus Syndrome'. :'D

I usually get something like this...

...Ass burgers.. Not quite as cute as asparagus. :D

The most common reaction is: huh? or if they have heard about it, unbelief.
I don't tell people who don't need to know about my Asperger anymore.

Sorry for being OT but you name reminds me of some old song.
