In my experience at least, sometimes I do want to help and work as a team, but apparently my manner and my lack of talkativeness is off-putting and I just can't connect with people, or I cannot pick up on the task because I need more time and specific instructions where usually other people can just start 'pitching in' right away.

I noticed that a lot of posts where Aspies claim that they are more logical than NT's. Pretty much, most people would say logic is more important than emotions. So, would Aspies be better off than NT's? Can one be too logical? Think of an Aspie who pretty much has very bland personality, rude, has no empathy, anal, goes by the book and whatnot. Emotions are not a bad thing. Human are social creatures. We care for each other, work in teams, and form relationships. This is based on emotions. With so many Aspies unemployed/underempoyed and having few (if any) friends, you gotta wonder why people value logic more than emotions.

I have a hard time telling the difference between logic and emotion. To me, they seem to be one and the same. I rarely have feelings for a girl I would have no reason liking or having those feelings for. Those feelings are based on logic, ie, fun, nice, single, etc. I also rarely get angry without reason, so the logical conclusion of being accused of trying to rip off the university bookstore with a sell back (happened last week) was for me to get angry.

Riots are borne on the wings of emotions. To wit: The L.A. race riots where 55 people got killed and the recent Egyptian football riots where over 27 people got killed. Logic is peace. It's what you get when people think about their actions and not dive into wanton destructive behavior. To wit: last year's floods in Japan that killed 13K people. There was no looting, no rioting, no inflammatory rhetoric against the government.
